Alternatives to Ebay, Hotmail & Google

does anyone know any good alternatives to google, hotmail and ebay?

ebay because their charges are now so extortionate.

google because they now filter a lot of stuff i've noticed.

hotmail because im sick of their ads and false "news" stories, and i dont want to give any more money to mainstream media companies.

or is the free market completely dead and there are no good alternatives?

Not just for paperbacks, but for hardbound and audio books, too! Make a "wish list" of those books listed in the back of Revolution, and keep adding all of the books folks mention in blogsphere.

I use yahoo but it, too, is less than perfect.

Yahoo is the WORST!! I

Yahoo is the WORST!! I remember once doing a search for RP. All that came up was a negative racist article, while google had a whole lot of entries of all sorts. I could not BELIEVE yahoo, and have rarely used them, since.
