This is a "ghost ship" story from Australia. 3 men in their 50's and 60's - not naive kids, set the table with food and all. Then one of them decides to untangle some fishing line from around the rudder. Since none of the three men were good swimmers according to the coroner, why would he chose to do this without a life jacket? Also, they decided to leave the motor running while he got in and splashed around the rudder, no one leaves the motor run when swimmers are near it. And remember, all while dinner got cold. The coroner tells us that things went badly for the gear untangler, so man number two also jumps in - with no life jacket. A poor swimmer hops in to the ocean to rescue another poor swimmer who is also without a life jacket. Mind you, any first time sailor knows you throw a ring, you don't hop in to become what this man became: Victim number 2. Now the sole survivor, rather than throw the ring or put on a life jacket, begins to try to ADJUST THE SAILS to effect a rescue, even though the motor is running???

I don't know who these men were, but I bet the story is total BS.
