I as a Christian do believe we are heading into the end times. If you are a Christian then you know the words that Jesus spoke to us about the end times are coming true.. we see it in the news everyday! I have found this article and would like you to read it and comment!

George: "But Dick, how can we convince them about weapons of mass destruction with no real evidence?"
Dick: "Relax, George. These people will believe anything we tell them to believe...virgin birth, salvation through human sacrifice, visitors from outerspace, whatever...their mothers will throw them into volcanos if we tell them to. Don't worry about it."
George: "Okay, Dick. You always make me laugh...that's so true and funny."
Dick: "Now, try to keep a straight face during your speech, okay?"

Appreciated the article
First off, I wish that nonChristians would not respond to something that is not addressed to them. Because they are not replying thoughtfully and kindly but rudely. They are interrupting a conversation among people who share the same belief and passion on a subject which they know nothing about. So, I love all my Daily Paulers but it sure does hurt when I never do anything to them and yet they insist on throwing insults my way just because I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Second, I totally agree with Mike. We are being led to another country. I don't know when and if it is permanent but everything is falling into place. But, we had to realize that we would be content where ever God sends us, even if it is here. I don't believe in the Rapture. God brought His children through tribulation, He did not whisk them out of it. Why do we think we are so special? Obviously we are not and we need a lot of work on our characters and understanding God's will and abiding in Him.
So, fellow Ron Paul Supporting Christians, do the Lord's work in whatever way and rest in Him. Helping the Ron Paul campaign for liberty is a work that I have been given to do and I will keep my hand to the plow.

Hey McCain-----┌П┐(◣_◢)┌П┐
I try to live my life as Jesus would like,
I may not always be successful,
but I believe that when Jesus talked about the Kingdom of God, he was talking in a parable. Something to the effect, do not say there is the Kingdom of God or here is the Kingdom of God, for it is within you, meaning to me that we, the people of the earth, have the power to create a kingdom that God would love.
Likewise, when Jesus spoke of end-times, I believe that he was also speaking in parables. There would be wars and rumors of wars. This is what is happening today, and the wisdom of the ages knows that in such times, the end is near for their culture.
History is cyclical, mankind has always forgot history, and has always been doomed to repeat it.
I do not call into question the belief of others, but am only stating my belief.

The end times
Jesus talked about was the final end of the Old Covenant. When the Romans destroyed the 2nd temple, and killed 1.2 million Jews, the prophecy was fulfilled. We have a long, long way to go before the New Covenant ends--first, the Gospel will have to cover the earth as the waters cover the sea, and it will not end with destruction and wars, but with peace and prosperity. It will be paradise restored.
The idea of Christians retreating into a little "sanctuary" is diametrically opposed to the Great Commission, Sierra.
also where does this place
also where does this place the book of revelation? there will be great tribulation till Jesus comes back to reign for the 1000 years.

Enjoyed the article
Have come to the same current conclusion...As one can never foresee the total future...it is wise to build upon a spiritual sanctuary as well as a physical one. Thanks for the article...and just ignore the comments from the peanut gallery : )

It never ceases to amaze me
It never ceases to amaze me that non-believers go out of their way to trash talk someone's faith and often in most hateful, insulting terms. Further puzzling that they claim to support Ron Paul who is a Christian.
Trust in God, but tie your camel tight.

Is non-believer code for
Is non-believer code for freethinker?
And I support Ron Paul despite his religion because he doesnt force it down people's throats. He isnt an evangelist. He doesnt sign off by saying PRAISE THE LORD as some of the posters on this site do. He isnt annoying about it. It doesnt get into the way of his world view. Sure, I disagree with him on evolution and abortion, both ideas that he disagrees with based on his religion, but he doesnt claim to be a crusader in his other endeavors.
I get that vibe from Chuck Baldwin. And the very proposal of a 'sanctuary' for Christian Paulites is absurd.
Ron Paul's religion
created his world view.
So.....where exactly in the
So.....where exactly in the bible does it say that God doesnt want us to share our land and our food with other people in need....and that welfare is bad. Where does it say that paper money is a sin....
by your responce I can tell
by your responce I can tell you have never read the bible... as far as sharing food and land with people in need you need to explain that more closely! share with who... second paper money is an unjust weight and measure.. especailly when the government, devalues the currency! welfare isn't all bad there are some people who need charity.. but that charity was supposed to be given out from the church.. not the treasury of the federal government! democracy sucks for this reason as soon as people realize they can vote money for themselves from the treasury only dishonest people want it! do you hear Ron Paul or do you listen to ron paul!

The article and this thread was written to Christians just as most of the NT is too. No one expects the sanctuary topic to make sense to non-believers. Also, your statement that Ron Paul's faith 'does not get in the way of his world view' is a bit contradictory in light of his pro-life and creationist beliefs. A person's faith or lack of is the core of who they are and it affects all decision making in life.

I would gaurantee you if the
I would gaurantee you if the states were left to make the decision on abortion in your state Ron Paul would be your biggest enemy! at the state level is where that fight should be.. not the federal level and I agree with that!

But the issue of abortion is
But the issue of abortion is not one of 'legality'...its an issue of morality. The people on the east coast and west coast will legalize abortion, given their women more freedom. Whereas, the south and midwest (bush country) will keep it illegal, and if the idea of state's right is taken further, things like civil rights, gay marriage, interracial marriage, slavery, and labor laws will be set back. At what point do you have to say 'yeah, it could be a state right, but for the sake of human rights and 'freedom' the issue needs to be settled.
And I love how things like gun rights are no states issues, yet Paulites dont complain. Cities and states were setting up their own gun laws, and the federal court overturned them. Gun rights and gay marriage. Conservatives have no problem letting the federal government intervene on those issues.
lol gun rights has
lol gun rights has everything to do with the feds,, its in the Constitution known as the second ammendment.. and states rights can not trump the Constitution! every thing you bring up is hogwash... interracial marriage? slavery? come on dude give me a break.. your flaming liberal streak shows strong and stronger as time goes by! gay marriage? that is a states rights issue.. it has nothing to do with federal Government! civil rights for any American no matter what your skin color is given by the bill of rights.. and protected by the Constitution ..
and your right.. the dummies who call themselves conserviatives who let the federal government intervene on some otf the issues you bring up are setting themselves up for people like you to attack them.. Its time to step outside the circle and look in.. its amazing how different things look when you looking at things from a different perspective! but most people are not honest enough with themselves to do this. then this brings on the belingerent reactionary like you! you are the same as the conservative on the other side..

Why were Ronald Reagan and
Why were Ronald Reagan and Ron Paul against the Civil Rights Act? Because it infringed on states rights: the right to not let black people vote. And I think that you should be allowed to do whatever you want, such as getting married if you are a different race or gay, then yes...I am lberal.
Anti-miscengenation laws: the court case of Loving V Virginia in 1967 overturned laws that made it a crime for blacks and other non-whites to marry or even has consenting sex with whites. These laws were in place in 16 states! Most in the South/Midwest. Marriage is no where in the Constitution, do you think it was a state right to bar these kinds of relationships? The same thing with gay marriage: California, Massachusetts, and others legalize it, then the federal court tries to nullify it. Are we a nation, or are we a union? We claim to be united, but we seem to be more like the European Union here, with each state giving different rights to different people.
The states/fed have NO
The states/fed have NO business in marriage which is a religious institution. I've changed my views on this and still much to consider in supporting that conclusion. Why is there a marriage license required by the state? Some say that it had to do with segregation laws but not sure I buy that totally. I've researched many Revolutionary War widows pension records and often there were several pages of statements from people making oath to applicant's marriage to the deceased soldier. Rarely, something like a certificate would be found signed by a minister and some areas had church record books of marriages. There was no state issued marriage license. These came to be later at different times in each state. A few states still recognize common law marriage but most have done away with it. Many couples fell into that category for variety of reasons which for some I'm sure their lack of religious affiliation was a factor. Others, it was simply a matter of waiting for a traveling minister maybe once a year to do the ceremony.
If marriage remained a religious institution with no state interference, there would be none of the problems that we see today from those demanding 'legal' recognition. Then, there is the illegal income tax based on married, single, etc. to consider in all this plus much more in way of benefits that state marriages receive over others. As I said, much yet to consider.
Trust in God, but tie your camel tight.

hmm?
Nothing????
ask Ron Paul why he is...
ask Ron Paul why he is... there should be no rights given to one person more then another person no matter what color his skin is! why is that so hard to figure out?

immunity
I'd like to live in a world where most of the people are immune to the deceptions of story telling. Stories like the following really cause big trouble:
1. the Indians are horrible savages, so it's okay to kill them
2. the Jews are international banking sharks, so it's okay to kill them
3. the Muslims are terrorists, so it's okay to kill them
Christianity is just a story, and believing in it as if it were true is just as dangerous as believing any other lie designed to manage the population.
I wish you all the best in your private sanctuary of worship, but if you talk about it in public, you deserve to be called out as the fantasyland storytellers that you are.
you have immunity to it...
you have immunity to it... just don't pay any attention to it.. you didn't have to open this thread.. simple as a click on your mouse!

THANK YOU Somehow religion
THANK YOU
Somehow religion is the 'untouchable' subject. If I walked around saying that I heard about a guy farted rainbow sugar, you would all call me crazy. If you arent secure enough in your faith to defend it against scrutiny, maybe you should keep your mouth shut.
