My Russian War Theory... What's Yours?
Nothing unusual here... Wars are always started by elitists and businessmen who seek to profit from it.
From what I understand, Georgian soldiers killed some people including some Russian peace keeping troops in Ossetia because the Ossetians wanted to secede from the Georgian Republic. Russia responded to Georgia's attack.
I think the American establishment is playing chess with Russia and using their puppet governments in Israel and Georgia to do it. It's important to remember that Russia has been the strongest opponent to bombing Iran. I think this war could mean two things:
1. It could be that America wants to single Russia out and make them look bad to the international community. The U.S. is doing this to discredit Russia and diminish the Russian clout in the International community. America wants war with Iran which is why they will try to push Russia out of the way....
2. Or it could also be a backdoor agreement between America and Russia. Considering how close an ally Georgia is to America and not to mention the vast amount of oil and pipelines in Georgia, America might have sacrificed Georgia to Russia. Basically, Russia gets control over the Georgian oil reserves in exchange for an American attack on Iran.
These are just guesses... What do you people think?

No one is believing that
No one is believing that Georgia attacked first! I have seen so many saying that it is Russian propoganda, that they attacked Georgia, unprovoked, and that we need to help Georgia because they helped us in Iraq. Even some have gone so far as to say I am anti-American if I believe Russia's side of the story, ot even South Ossetia's side, because it is being controlled. And so it begins...

American diplomats ruled out
American diplomats ruled out military intervention on Georgia's behalf. One US National Security Council official said: "We have no good options. We need Russia's co-operation over Iran and derailing that over a localised conflict in Georgia makes no sense.
Sergei Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister, told Condoleezza Rice, the US Secretary of State, that Georgia's president, Mikheil Saakashvili, "must go''. Mr Lavrov said Russia would continue its military action in South Ossetia. He said there was a "continuing direct threat to Russian citizens''.

something big is up
Armada heads to Iran, Bush outa town, false-flag-ish operation blaiming Russia adjacent to Iran, metals prices eerily low, stock market and dollar strangely rallying, and spookiest of all, Dick's at the helm.
What up?
I don't believe that Russia and China will sit idly by during...
Bush's attack on Iran. Their economies are just as dependent on oil as our economy. If you look on a map, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and Iraq complete an arc of territory around the Oil reserves. This arc of terrirtory, if completed, would restrict Russia and China's access to the oil.
Things are getting serious right now, and they could very easily fight this war by proxy, if they don't confront us directly. And if they stood together against the U.S., then the world would let out a huge cheer.
If we don't lose an aircraft carrier, I will be shocked.

All good plans.
I would probably side with you #2 answer. The American and Russian government tend to work together, it's the old good cop bad cop game, but they are really on the same side.
Consider this! The FRN was designed by a Russian.

You got it right....i agree

I believe that by now....
both the Russians and the Chinese know that the war on terror is really a war for oil. Russia will not let Iran be attacked, it has already said so, they are not going to sit this one out.
Initial reports said that Georgia attacked first, but who knows. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. But look at Russia's overwhelming response.
They may be trying to capture airfields in Georgia, so they can use them in the coming war. Plus, I believe that 4 pipelines run through Georgia.

my view
I think it might be to see what Iran and China's reactions are.
Here is an article from 2007 when China, Russia and Iran warn against interference in the region
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/08...
The US cannot survive a conflict with Russia and China, who can cause hyper-inflation at their will. Russia also controls gas supplies to most of europe. they may be US allies now, but with a cold winter and no gas, they will quickly change their tune in this conflict.
Plus, Ukraine is a big question mark, but having just returned from there, I can tell you that a LARGE portion of the population supports Russia, the majority in fact, and it's only a matter of time before Yuskchenko and his CIA wife are removed.
if we have to choose
Between Russia and Europe it won't be Russia. We are to rooted with members of the EU

Tho
so we train Georgians
they attack S Ossettia,
Russia attacks Georgia
who attacks Russia?
Will Iran defend Russia?
Then US can Attack Russia?

How About Strengthening the Dollar against the Euro
Since it is rather "iffy" as to whether the U.S. is going to jump into this war in Georgia, perhaps it was planned to LOWER the Euro in relation to the dollar. I think the dollar collapse and the bank failures have the US masters really worried. They have done everything they can think of to kill gold and raise the dollar in the past week. Lowering the Euro is another way of extending the "game", and since the Euro went down as soon as the Georgia trouble started, since Europe gets oodles of oil from Georgia, maybe this was the plan all along.

Here's the story you should look at:
Vast oil reserves found in Arctic Circle

Russia sticks foot in Arctic Circle oil
http://www.peakoil.com/article41569.html
Bottom line-Russia claimed the largest oil resource in the world. They are now the richest county in the world.
International Bankers are using troops from Israel and the USA to attack civilians in Georgia and are pushing propaganda that Russia is the aggressor. They are fomenting a war between the US and Russia.
Right now we're overextended as military nation. Russia has lost alot of its land and resources and the bankers have tried to encircle it with puppet governments.
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
Very interesting indeed
I have read that Putin basically kicked the Rothschilds (international bankers) out of Russia. If indeed Russia becomes the richest nation on earth, there's no way that the banksters will tolerate not being able to loot the wealth.
Very interesting.
Very interesting. Thanks.

i think # 1 sounds pretty
i think # 1 sounds pretty acurate.
either way, georgia IS the CIA. and they attacked first on purpose to create this whole situation.
but what really makes me sick is every "news" outlet in the west saying its russia's fault.
in the words of Thin Lizzy: dont believe a word
everything is about oil
gas and pipelines. Interestingly a new oilfield was announced in russia.
expect more confrontations with russia.

georgia - a pipeline runs through it......
Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Pipeline

The real reason
How many oil pipelines run thru Georgia? Why are the Russians bombing them?
Russians bombing them?
They're not bombing them. You are reading 'Western/Georgian propaganda. There are no reports of damaged pipelines via ariel assault. Do you believe the Russians couldn't hit a targeted pipeline from the air?
I favor #2
It's really hard to tell what's going on right now, but I favor your second view.
As this issue gets cloudier, it will be important to remember the original spark: Georgia attacked first and they targeted civilians. The US and Israel have supplied Georgia, so in effect, the evil empire (US) attacked first and targeted civilians.
Civilian deaths are an excellent way to spark political maneuvers.
The McCain campaign
has well established ties to the Georgian leadership. This will allow McCain to posture and pontificate about poor democratic Georgia being mauled by the Russian bear. I hope the American electorate will see through this.
In other words another foreign policy victory for the bush administration, perhaps the most utterly depraved government ever to hold public office anywhere.
