I am going to donate
because I want this beamed out and made known and I want them to pursue this to the very end. I hope they have found attorneys who are involved with Ron Paul and who will handle this for cost only. It is time attorneys start regaining some credibility. Mostly there reputation is as bad as those in our government. Not to mention that their organization is a member of CFR.

Please chipin today. Apparently a GOP County Central Committee Chair at a meeting yesterday told a little "joke" about "What are grassroots people? The ones that get trampled." That mindset is, apparently, what we are up against and we must fight for an "open tent" and equality for all.

Introduction
On April 26, 2008 the Nevada State GOP Convention ended abruptly, and without finishing its official business. Two perspectives have emerged in the aftermath: GOP leadership claims that poor planning, combined with an organized rule change effort by many delegates, led to the convention going over its contracted time with the venue. Grassrootsactivists, including both Ron Paul and John McCain supporters, believe that GOP leadership conspired to end the proceedings, because the delegates had successfully effected the rule change.
Whatever the case may be, the GOP leadership has decided that they are going to put aside their own rules, as well as Nevada state law, and appoint delegates to the Republican National Convention without an election.
Grassroots activists and credentialed delegates have decided to make a stand. Acase was filed with the Nevada courts, to raise the issue of the Nevada law violation. Unfortunately, the judge dismissed the case. In the weeks that followed, the delegates regrouped and have formed a strategy that we believe will be successful no matter the outcome.
Our plan is to shine a gigantic spotlight on the whole affair, and to make the price for unlawful actions and rule-breaking too high to continue. The state case will be appealed to the Nevada Supreme Court.And a new federal case will call for emergency relief to prevent the state party from appointing unelected delegates.
Please help us by donating to the fund, and making a national embarrassment out of the Nevada State GOP leaders. Please help us bring integrity back to the process.
To get the ball rolling, we need $4,000 by August 18th, with the difference coming in over the rest of the month. We have already received many hours pro bono courtesy of our attorney. There is much work, and much expense, to come.

Civil disobediance is the next stage of Revolution
We tried to change things via civil obediance...voting, becoming delegates, showing public support...all of it was spun and ignored and have done illegal things to stop us.
That leaves us with the next stage of Revolution...civil disobediance.
Sure they will start locking us away...by force...which leads to the next stage...threat of violence...and after that...violence.
So you want a Revolution...really?
If Ron Paul tries to pull a rabbit out of his hat, I'll support him. But we really need to start getting ready to take this to the next stage.
To the existing powers that be, this is about controlling trillions of dollars. They aren't just going to hand that over to a bunch of patriots.

I attended the last Las Vegas RP Meetup
There is a 3 prong strategy we are using.
File a suit with the state supreme court.
File a suit with the federal court to act quickly to hold hearings. Briefs are currently being worked on. This is probably the most important strategy because it can work faster than the state court by using civil rights laws.
The third I believe is to file a civil lawsuit for the cost of the convention if prong 1 and 2 fail. The Nevada GOP leadership made alot of money committing fraud.
I think what everyone can do to help is try to get as many news-stations to report on this. Call in to radio shows, talk to friends, let everyone know about what is happening in Nevada. Then go to your local GOP and see if lawsuits should be filed, I can think of Texas, perhaps Colorado, and Louisiana.
Another thing is that some of the National GOP are coming down, we are unsure how effective we will be there though I know of one delegate who said he would raise the issue up with them.
The GOP leadership have planned a party at a bar here in Las Vegas. Of course 18-20 year old voters don't matter, except we did hold the RP meetup at a Bar, but apologized to the young members and asked for suggestions of other venues. The Gin and Tonics were good.
Chris Dyer, candidate for Congress was there, cool cat, smart, young, has a button down white shirt, tie and black slacks.. and black Converse. He may be the future of the Republican party.
Also there was David Isbell who has already secured a nomination.
