List of States Where Dr. Paul is on the ballot
Is Ron Paul on your state’s ballot? And while we’re at it, what are the write-in options in your state?
I just now checked Tennessee (findings below)---it took only 3-4 minutes on the phone. Please check with your state and post your findings here! Here’s a list of quick links to get to your own state's SOS. http://www.statelocalgov.net/50states-secretary-state.cfm
If we can knock out this easy research, then we can really know the situation---and not just have to wonder about it!

TENNESSEE
I called the Elections Division of the TN Secretary of State’s office and discovered the following:
1. Ron Paul is NOT listed at this time as a candidate (third party or otherwise) for the General Election.
2. The State of TN has NOT sent Ron Paul a petition for that purpose as if this time.
3. The deadline for such registration is 21 August.
4. Write-in voting for Dr. Paul is still an option, provided that he files a Certificate of Write-In Candidacy, along with a list of eleven pledged electors between the dates of 22 August and 15 September.

In order to be considered a
In order to be considered a "write-in" candidate. The presidential candidate and his veep selection has to show up in person to apply to be the candidate. I dont foresee the good doctor doing this. It is a daunting task. Think about it. He would have to go to every state in person to do it. Since that is off the table. He is urging people to not write him in. The vote will not be counted.
In my opinion. You can do whatever you want.
I dont know if I will vote at all in the presidential election. I dont think I will. Im in Illinois and there a couple of people I will vote for here in this state.
I know Dr.Paul
has said that we shouldn't write him in, but why? Is it because it won't be counted or does that mean he would have to go third party? I for one want to be able to write his name in, why won't he make that available for us?
