it do? I am really having trouble keeping my chin up....so sick of being ignored by our Reps. He does admit that Georgia started it, but really harps about Russia:

Thank you for taking the time to contact me regarding the outbreak of hostilities between Georgia and Russia. I appreciate hearing from all Pennsylvanians about this important issue.

On August 7, 2008, the Georgian military attacked separatists in the semi-autonomous region of South Ossetia. In response, the Russian military undertook large-scale military maneuvers against Georgia, including moving Russian forces into Georgian territory beyond South Ossetia. So far, reports indicate thousands of casualties, with many others injured, including large numbers of civilians. After several days of fighting, Russia gained control over South Ossetia and Abkhazia and has further occupied uncontested Georgian territory.

The Russian aggression demonstrated in this conflict has been disproportionate and must end. As a United States Senator and a member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, I call on Russia to end military operations, withdraw from Georgian territory, halt the looting of villages and respect the mutually agreed upon cease-fire agreement.

Russia cannot aspire to membership in the international community unless it respects the norms and values of the international community. Seeking to dominate its neighbors politically, economically and culturally is unacceptable. Please be assured that I will have your concerns in mind as this situation continues to develop. It seems we are now living in a "Bazarro World". I'm not too sure of the reason our political system is so bizarre, but it seems to have gotten worse in the time line around the the 911 incident. Just look at what has happend after this attack. War in Iraq, Georgia, Afganistan, and numerous other places all around the world. This, in my opinion, is nothing less than a coup perpetrated on the American people and our way of government. What our gov. has done is effectively hijacked all aspects of the power structure, and believe me, "we the people", are not included in it. It very well could be that we have never been included in the process of governing our country. If not, then this has got to be the strangest and the most cruel hoax in history. It seems we have died and gone to hell. If our political system has always been this way, then it brings to question who is running the USA? There have been many theories on this but I don't think anyone has boiled it down to one person or group. It could just be that total corruption is the cause. But beleive me, there is an agenda working against all of us and we are not in the loop. Dr. Paul is one of the few people in the political system that has not been corrupted but has been ignored.
I hate to say it, but I just don't beleive we will ever be able to change the system in any political manner. I think everyone here knows what will have to happen to change this. God help us all, but you know it's the only way.

what would happen if the the gov. defaulted on just one payment of all the gov. issued checks such as, military retirment, disability, medicare, medicaid, and all checks issued by the gov. Man, there would be rioting in the streets and God only knows what else would happen..........

I just woke up and fox news was on and I heard them in full scale brainwashing mode. Americans will think the wrong thing and world war three will be here.

Russia is not Iraq , they have an army and a big one with serious weapons. America will be destroyed by this lie. Bush will finally succeed in destroying America and people will blame russia for it.His grandfather the Nazi synpathizer would be really proud.
