What they are doing is AWESOME. We should write them and help them all we can. They have meetings set up almost every DAY. It is incredible the affects they are having on people.

I don't get the chipin information. Seems to be more than one.
If you go to www.walkforfreedom.com then go down the page to where it says Learn how you can contribute, click that, then under Financial Assistance, click here, you see a chip in that shows $2,360 of $30,000 so far.
Is one a daily tally and the $2,360 the total so far? Anybody know?

Recently I've tried a couple of times, but after clicking the chip in link given, a message appears saying "the event has ended." This link has been down for at least a week or so and could well be one of the reasons the donations remain so low.
How many?

It got to $330 yesterday,
It got to $330 yesterday, only 6 chipins. I wish more would go to their sites and get excited. Now it sounds like they need to video their presentation and hand out dvd's. People are getting pumped after listening! These people really need some money and support. The videos and comments are very inspiring. If you can't donate a few bucks, at least go and watch and read what they are doing. It is heroic.

I was wondering that, too. I bet they are, without asking...it would be excellent, though, if they had a small donation box near them. The constitutions cost $.30 each and people are way willing to pay $1.00 for them. I may ask them next time I write..

Trying to connect to the walk4freedom.org website but it gives
a rather strange page... the Wethepeople is seen very hazily in the background with a big stamp on it saying 404 error - not found.
The other page, walk4freedom.com comes up with the videos on the side. I went to the chip in but it says it has ended.
Are their websites not valid anymore?

something is wrong with your server. I just went there again. www.walk4freedom.com has the four videos, and the chip in only has $330. measely dollars in it. www.walk4freedom.org has a lot of daily posts by some walkers, and is super! I do not know why you can not see it. It's odd.
Click on the donate button and see what happens. I gave $30 yesterday, fine.

I went back just then, and it seems to work fine now. Even the chip-in works now.. It said clearly in that particular square that it had ended.
Hopefully there was a hiccup with my server but it makes me think that something had interfered/hacked with that site when I tried to get on.
Anyhow, it works now.

I am going to try to write at least one, every day, I think. They all got into a big fight on the 15th which I am hoping cleared up as they say. They sure need our support, they are taking a difficult journey and need more support than Dr. Scholl could give them..
