I just started peeling the Ron Paul stickers off my truck
I have decided to sell my truck. I've also decided that it will be easier to sell without stickers all over it. It has a shell, hence lots of space to advertise my hobbies as well as my political views and my favorite candidate. Well, today I grabbed a utility knife blade and started going at it.
The Surfrider membership stickers came off easily; in fact the 2005 one came off easier than the '06 one. Gordon and Smith was a little bit tough because it had been on there so long, but Bing Surfboards came off in such great condition that I was able to transfer it to my VW bus.
Southern Culture on the Skids was really tough because it had been on there so long and it was one of those really glittery ones that gets really baked on by the sun. But surprisingly, the oldest sticker on the truck (from the American Scooter Racing Association) only took a couple of minutes.
Then there are the Ron Paul stickers. Those darned things are there to stay. Every time I tried to grab and corner and get a good peel going, a tiny spec would break off, leaving hardly any trace of my efforts. I decided right then and there that the next buyer better be a Ron Paul fan. Or at least they better google him before they start peeling...

I have a RP sticker on my new Acura TL.....and I get people honking and giving me the thumbs up every day!
It is amazing to see how many people in Oregon "Get It".
The first time somebody pulled up next to me, screaming and yelling....I thought..."What the hell is the problem with these people?".....but after I rolled down my window...they yelled...."RON PAUL ALL THE WAY!" I understood they were responding to the RP sticker on my car!
I actually forgot about the sticker.....
Now...it is a every day occurrence..........which makes me smile!

Swing Vote Friday night, and couldn't figure out why so many people were smiling at me as I crossed the theater to take my seat. When I sat down, I realized it was the Ron Paul '08 pin prominently displayed on my purse!

My sister borrowed my car and totalled it a few weeks ago and, truth be told, I was more upset about loosing the RP sticker on the windshield than the car itself.
I loved having that sticker up there and getting all those friendly honks and waves from fellow patriots with stickers of their own!
Just a suggestion
I don't know if it would take the sticker off or not. I recently had a window sticking in my vehicle. the trim was sticking to the window, like it had a rubbery coating that came off the trim and was melted to the window. Nothing I tried would take the stuff off the window. It was stuck on there for life, so it seemed
Then I tried some silicone spray to clean the rubber trim up. Sprayed some on a rag, wiped the window.. and isntantly the rubber stuff started coming off very easily.
Might be worth a try spraying some on the sticker.. see if it loosens the adhesive.
I still have mine...the only sticker ever on my vehicle.
But have thought of the time when it was necessary to take it off.
I really wanted to keep it on so that the sheeps would understand who they should have voted for once things get worse. You know, rub their nose in it,so to speak.( I still have political anger issues),But I'm working through it.
But I then wondered if the RP sticker would end up as a target for local law enforcement,thinking I was for free hemp,and the Constitution,and all that other alCIAduh stuff.
I don't know if anyone remembers the "pamphlet" Alex Jones exposed in the 90s,but the FBI supposedly put it out explaining that anyone making frequent references to the Constitution,or freedom related materials,or alternative books you could be a "terrorist"
hmmmm.....rub their nose in it,or have a bullseye on the back.

My Ron Paul Stickers Would Survive a WMD..
My car windows could shatter and the damn things would still be there. No matter how hard I try to remove them...they always just keep staring back at me laughing. Must be that Constitutional glue they use.
Pulling up the yard signs is hard too. They go in the ground pretty easy, but it's a hell of a lot harder to pull them out. Keep the faith... always be on the offensive.

use some...
lighter fluid. Peel a bit of the sticker away and then apply some lighter fluid behind the sticker and slowly peel it away. The lighter fluid breaks down the adhesive real nice. Good luck. Or you can take the truck to the car wash and blast the stickers off with a powerwash. That works too...lol! But I would go with the lighter fluid.
Use a hairdryer.
And hurry up and buy a new car. I've got stickers for you..

But I don't want a new car.
I'd rather play around with my old bus and try to get 40mpg out of it using HHO to augment the fuel system which will shut off automatically when the bus is stopped, with solar panels on the roof and a Striling engine connected to the tailpipe, both charging a large battery that will connect to a large electric motor that will augment standing starts until the engine springs back to life once I reach the point of maximum acceleration offered by the electric motor.
Or something like that.
