WHY DO PEOPLE SAY ALEX JONES IS A FEAR MONGER???

I used to listen to Alex. But I got tired of hearing the same thing over and over. That and his economic knowledge is... oh about.....NIL.

He went on some rant about how Walmart is evil because they drive out the mom and pop shops. That shows his knowledge right there.

I do support his efforts for 911 truth though.

I discovered him around the same time I discovered Dr. Paul. The subjects he deals with are scary. I think he wants people to pay attention don't be a push over. Look at our government and all the crazy stuff they are doing. That doesn't scare people? It scares me. Look what they have planned for the people going to the Democratic convention. That's scary. Look at the misinformation in the MSM, that's scary. I am happy to listen he keeps me informed and puts the pieces together. He makes me keep active and want to change things. I think people expect to much from him. People need to get active and work harder. Everyone keeps saying Dr. Paul this and that. Where are we? There is an old saying" If you need a helping hand look at the end of your arm." Peace

Nazi themes in his documentaries... all for ratings and effect. And maybe a little just to help wake people up.

I let a friend of mine watch one of his movies and he said, "Yeah, but if half of what he's saying true, it's still scary." I explained to him that I've watched a bunch of his stuff, and I can't find anything that he's said that isn't true. (I'm not saying he has never told an untruth... only that all the stuff I ended up being really curious about ended up being true, after I did my own investigation.)

My friend asked me, "It's ALL true?" I explained what I meant by that, and he said, "That's scary."

Some of it is blown out of proportion admittedly, and like Bill O'Reilly he puts his own spin on everything, but it's still all true. There are people in power with some warped ideas of what our future should look like. And it is a little scary. Especially with all the sheep out there still following the herd.

As others have put it so eloquently, Jones likes to bring up a subject, create drama that isn't actually there, blow it out of proportion, then pat himself on the back for having done so.

He has taken credit for exposing situations that were nothing more than his reporting the occurrence. He promotes it almost as if HE was the one that went and did the homework, looked at the laws, followed the trail of breadcrumbs and was integral in its dissemination.

He has made the boggy man almost omnipotent in his abilities. There is nothing that the Trilaterals, CFR's, Illuminati's et al are capable of or the extent of their powers.

If you haven't realized by now, most of the power the ELITE have is illusion. They want you to think they have the power to do whatever they want so you don't question it. They want us to think they have their hand in every cookie jar, bank transaction, power play and every important decision that is ever made.Most of the time they are reacting to situations, making themselves to be the power behind whatever people are responding too.

Yet Alex Jones would have you believe they (the Elite) are manipulating
the world most of the time. Quite honestly, I believe that much of what we are seeing is slight of hand (prestidigitation if you will). These idiots don't want power, they want money. With it, you have the ultimate get out of jail free card there is.

Just look at Cindy and John McCain. What other losers could stay out of trouble after the Keating Five, or an estimated 7300 Precocet/Vicodin a year addiction than those two spoiled brats. Money is the only thing that kept them from jail.

Yet I digress. Alex's problem is that he has learned from the best (Rush Limbaugh, Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama, John McCain etc).. Unless you fear monger, you don't get any listeners. If all is well for the world for just one day, people just might turn the channel and never turn it back.

If evil isn't ALWAYS creeping just around the corner, then there is no one to be constantly afraid of, and lets face it, fear is a great motivator.

Global Warming, War in Iraq, Energy Crisis, High Taxation, No Health care, Crumby Schools, War on Poverty, et al, are just a few of the buzz words they like to use to keep a constant state of anxiety going at all times. So Alex does the exact same thing.

Quite honestly if everyone on earth took qualudes for a whole week all at the same time, most politicians would be out of a job, most Media personalities would be unemployed and 500,000 parasitic lobbyist would find they have no reason to return to work. Until that anxiety builds back up again. Which hopefully would take a long time.

Alex Jones is a great wake up call - but he will only bring you so far.

Because he's so engaged, studied, and vocal, not to mention tormented. His chi doesn't know north from south. The oblivious go on vacation for a few weeks and they're all better. What would be a vacation for Alex? What would have to happen for Alex of take a vacation AND fix his chi? ...maybe say, the collapse of the New World Order, the nightmare to end??? Cuz really, I just don't see Alex taking off to Mexico, surfing with Jesse Ventura, forgetting all about his worries and not stressing over the NWO. Just because he goes off the air doesn't mean he's stopped working. You don't stop working when this is your life.

I don't agree with everything he believes, but I think he is doing a service in alerting people to some very frightening things that actually are happening or might/will be happening in the future. His style is very animated and brash and to me very similar to some evangelical ministers; and this, I believe, makes him appear sensationalistic and to some as fear mongering. But come on, our government is involved in some very scary endeavors and by calling attention to those very real fearful situations he is in fact a fear monger. We need this stirred up. Remember, just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!

I think if his script were read by someone like Micheal Cane in exactly the same words verbatim used by AJ, that he would appear to the public as a very eloquent and dignified whistle blower. But with AJs raspy voice and his sermon like fervor - he puts some people off. I, for one, applaud his passion in warning the public even if there are some areas of his beliefs I'm not convinced of.

Sure, his passion for his work takes over and makes it hard to listen to him at times, his frustration comes through loud and clear about the nay-sayers.
I mean, he doesn't have the run of the mill sort of news.

If it weren't for the Alex Jones's we would still be sitting in front of Fox news and lapping up the lies and deceit. It is easy to criticise from one's arm chair the deeds of others.. in my mind Alex Jones with all his short comings or perceived short comings is a hero.

Reality checks are usually confronting.

Alex Jones hardly ever offers a solution beyond "spread the word", which might as well be "spread the fear". His advertisers offer their solution, but they all seem to be so ready to give up, run for the hills, and hope for the best.

I'd say the biggest reason they mirror the neocons is they also believe in the End of Days as being the end of all existence, as opposed to the end of the Piscean age and the beginning of the Aquarian age. They expect their salvation to come from outside, instead of from within.

the real reason behind this is that alex jones uses the same scare tactics to tell the 'alternative story' (which may or may not hold much truth) as the neo conservatives use when they talk about foreign policy. its this sort of in your face method that makes jones' message almost non-credible simply because of the manner that the information is delivered. i mean his domain names alone tell the tale, infowars, prisonplanet, these kinds of things.... its a shock effect of the other side of the story. its one of my biggest criticisms of the delivery of the message, yet i feel its probably a big reason why its been so successful. if people feel imposed by the method you try to deliver a message (especially if its contradictory to what you believe) there is an automatic defensive response. this isnt rocket science, just some basic psychology

People don't want to see that "they" are trying to kill us. We are useless eaters.

The proof is there, it's everywhere! Chemtrails, the dying bees, GMO's, Vaccine's, Fluoride, Food shortages, WAR, Cancer, AIDS, Extreme Weather, etc., etc., etc............... People only see what they want to see.

All of this can be proven.

I'm not a fan of Alex Jones. But I recognize that he's a really intelligent gentleman with great (and very real) warnings everyone should pay attention to.

I'm a connstitutionalist who issued specific warnings to the public in about 1977. Nobody listened to me; now they're paying for not listening. Now a lot of the public is ready to listen. I keep praying that the scoffers will stay out of the way of real people who will think for themselves.
