He is running against the GOP incumbent Cathy Ann McMorris Rodgers, so if he beats her in the Republican district, we almost already have our first Ron Paul candidate elected!
Note that Dr. Paul cannot/may not endorse a GOP candidate against an incumbent GOP congressman/woman.

probably followed the wrong links. Where on earth did you find them? Simply look search for google news: Michael Delavar and you will see a few newspaperlinks that he came second and wil be against Brian Baird in November:

I wonder if the hacking of Kurt Ericson's website was intentional. He should have performed better IMHO or perhaps the RP support was divided among some of the other candidates as well..
I'm so glad Michael Delavar has beaten Christine Webb. he basically gave the WA GOP a "Bush one finger salute"! :-)

Top-two primary. That means the top two vote-getters advance to November general election, regardless of party affiliations. Baird and Delavar got most votes.... they are our candidates.

Try Google ... i used Clark County Elections to find above links... each county hopefully has it's own compilation of results.
I'm grumpy... I lost my PCO election 58% to 41%... and more people didn't vote for any of the two candidates than voted either one. Seems to mean I could have tried harder, hit the streets sooner... maybe there were a lot of folks that were just pure anti-(R)... as the only two candidates were (R)s.

Good news from Washington!
Curently Michael Delavar WA District 3 is in second place. Looks like we will have a fight on our hands but getting Michael elected is doable! In our state the top 2 canidates more on to the general election. There are still many ballots to count but it IS looking good! Way to go Michael!

The number of votes still to count isn't much more than the gap between Webb and Delavar, so barring something incredibly unlikely, score this one for the r3VOLution!

sorry Kurt Erickson could not make it, but he was running against a GOP incumbant, who probably appealed to some RP supporters and was endorsed byt he pro-life group, as was Christine Webb. So glad Michael Delavar beat Webb, while she had all the endorsements of the GOP state officials as well as some newspapers. Delavar is a very nice guy and must have run a wonderful campaign with so many videos also (Erickson did not had many/any videos).
Baird did vote against the war, but he changed and is for the surge. If Delavar can get all Webb's supporters plus a bit of Crist of the Democrats (who is also strongly against the war) and some Independents, he can win. It will be a hard fight. I read Baird has done countless townhall meetings, and he is there since 2005, thus well known. If Webb was in second place, she would have had no chance to win.

Vote for Delavar
Yes, the local GOP put up a candidate to oppose, not Brian Baird, the Democrat, but a true conservative, Michael Delavar. Yes, it is a shame that they would go this far to actually sabotage Delavar's chances. It seems that the GOP here are happy with the status quo. Christine Webb, the candidate proffered by the GOP here has one thing going for her, as far as I can see, and that is her looks. She's attractive. What can I say?
Rossi put out a letter trying to court Ron Paul supporters. He's what I consider the old guard and cannot trust him. However, once Michael "wins" the primary and advances to November, the damn local GOP better get their heads on straight and support a viable contender in Delavar.
Well, let's get Delavar elected. He opposes any pretexts for war, wants to end foreign aid! (and this is important to me because of the Israeli issue.) His wife has Iranian heritage. His opposition to ALL foreign aid will make enemies, so we should protect him against any type of smear campaigns, which I have a feeling will start to happen. Aftter this top two primary, I hope that Micheal gets a significant number of the votes. This will cause concern in the status quo and may start an organized effort to smear Delavar and bolster his opponent, which I''m going to assume will be Baird.

Is the surname with which
he was born, not Bush, and he decided to change it, with view of the reaction in Iran and elsewhere? Really a very nice guy and his wife also looks very nice. I thought before she was German, as she has a German name (Katja) and also looks a bit so....or perhaps some German influence and grew up in Tehran? Persians are very smart people (they are not Arabic). Yes, Webb only had her looks, but she is also not awesome and I find Michael quite an attractive man, and his wife is also good looking. I think Michael's grandparents were also immigrants? So he can talk with authority. I think his wife played a strong role in his campaign.
Although he raised the most of the 4 in the race, he probably had to use most of the funds already and would need a lot to beat a long term imcumbent, who probably has a lot of cash on hand and he has the experience as well.
And how about Attorney
And how about Attorney General? I mean who do you wanna be prosecuted by? Not to mention that according to Bugliosi any Attorney General could press charges against this administration but is there an attorney general will the balls to do it?

of the AG in Vermont. Bush and Cheney are already almost persona non grata there and their AG would surely have the balls, together with sen. Bernie Sanders.

How long has Kurt Erickson's site been hacked?
Is the hacking of a website a common occurrence?
Is it easy to fix?
Is it likely to be a random event, or is there some reason to believe that Kurt was targeted intentionally?
Am I just being paranoid, or do I have reason to think that Kurt's site being hacked might have something to do with his political beliefs?
