Cartoon seems to be a fairly straight forward slap at the (vast majority of) silly people who base their lives and behavior on made up stuff.
Jesus may instruct Dubya, and Allah may direct Al-Qaida, but MY guides are Lazarus Long ("Get the facts.") and Peter Parker ("With great power comes great responsibility.")
The difference? I know MY fantasies are NOT real. Sadly, we can't say the same for Dubya or Al-Qaida.
