I heard about this documentary a few weeks ago through the daily paul. When Dr. Paul was speaking, MOST of his comments were directed at monetary policy. Throughout most of his campaign, I was saying to myself, "Ok, we get it, the economy is bad. You're talking over most people's heads. Move on to another issue." I had studied his policies regarding everything else and agreed with 98% of it, but he seemed to be stuck on this monetary policy issue. After the primaries, when the economy was getting really scary (the VERY thing Dr. Paul spoke about), everyone started talking about our monetary policy. Right away, I realized that yet again, Dr. Paul was right and I was just naive to the problem. The reason he focused so much on it is BECAUSE its a very, very serious problem. So tonight I talked some very Pro-Bush, Far Right, Evangelical Christian Republicans into attending the movie with me after dinner, as well as sending my best friend who lives 1500 miles away in Las Vegas (an ardent Pro Bill Clinton, Very Liberal, Anti-Reagan, and admitted admirer of Communism "its great on paper") as well. Have yet to speak with him, however my Republican friends were very affected and greatly enjoyed the film. I don't know how many of you attended the one night only event tonight, but just thought that I would share this little part of carrying on the Revolution. EVERY one of the people I attended with said, "If I'd have seen that film 8 months ago, I would have supported Ron Paul." Doing what I could with the war in Iraq, foreign policy, income tax reform, personal freedoms, I had only convinced 4 of the group to support Dr. Paul in the Texas Primary. So , now I am newly revived in my passion for carrying on the Revolution and am again excited to keep the fight going and to work to get a Ron Paul Republican elected to every Congressional District for Congress!

I just got back from the

I just got back from the movie and must say that I was impressed. Its much less a limited hangout than I thought it would be. Dr. Paul played a small part but it was powerful and hit most of the big points. It should also be noted that Dr. Paul was the only elected official interviewed. Pretty much all the others were attacked.

I highly recommend this movie for neo-con friends. The people talking in the lobby before the movie were all praising Fox News etc, by the time the film was over they were laughing AT Bush. We need to get Peterson (the CFR guy) to allow this movie to be burned and distributed. I'll add more to this a little later.

I just got home from this movie

And I dont see the purpose of it yet. Maybe someone here can help me see it. Ron Paul was his usual great self in this film. Warren Buffet and the rest of the people on the panel have no clue. They keep stressing saving your money and they want the retirement age to go to 70. They never discussed the fed, or backing our money with gold, or the costs of wars. Although the movie did talk about some of the issues. So what was the purpose of this movie?

You have to remember...

this movie was intended as a wake-up call. It is just the tip of the iceburg for most.

I think this movie is put

I think this movie is put out so multi billionairs like buffet etc won't get scalped for raping this country. another words when the masses see what the politicians and big corporations did to them there will be no place safe for them to hide! when this thing collapses and people lose there entire life savings its going to be sad! anger will be huge and morons like buffet etc will say didn't you see iousa? i told you it was coming.. yea right!

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

i think were soulmates

I was seriously just typing everything you said. I think your right...the purpose was to tax us more...just like the inconvient truth. I personally liked the movie the 11th hour better where that solution was plant something and consume less. This movie did a good job of making Ron Paul look awesome and smart, but something about this movie just wasn't right and the fact that they didn't mention gold irked me. I dunno it will be good to get more on our side but I feel like it just didn't do it right.

I think you may have spelled

I think you may have spelled it out. hey want you to work until you die and never question authority. These people are not going to blame themselves. It all depends on you, because millions on welfare depend on you.

I see it as an opportunity

I see it as an opportunity to reach out to others to spread the message in one of the rare times that people are seriously contemplating the national debt and the situation it has left us in.

Break down the movie for us? I was a bit concerned it was a spin job.
