Everyone loves to get packages like this in the mail. It is exciting. And check out what was inside - a beautifully presented, professionally designed DVD. True to the wording on the cover, this is very important information for RNC delegates and alternates.

Just a quick note to everyone - this project is full force for us this weekend. Thank you for everyone who's contributed so far. And this whole group deserves a BIG thank you. We're in the trenches right now with the project, and our excitement is up after seeing our visits triple yesterday. I can't impress upon everyone how important the project will be in the next week. Please spread the word.
I'm having trouble viewing it...
I have tried viewing the Google link of the video and I have downloaded it from break-the-matrix and on both versions, the file seems to be corrupt at about 1 hour and 5 minites - during the Glen Beck interview the whole thing locks up. Has anyone else experienced this and what other sources is the video available from. Thanks.

A Project To Be Proud Of
What an amazing outcome! I'm sitting here just *stunned* at the brilliance of the way this DVD is layed out! The grassroots obviously came though here and produced a product beyond expectations.
Well done guys.
Part of me wishes we could use force to make everyone watch all 2 hours of this, the part, that most like me have been trained to feel is normal. Well it's not normal and we know better. The message of peace can't spread by force. But if just one damn delegate decides to do the right thing, the whole project was worth the effort! If one delegate that planned to vote party for JM, and switches their vote, we are one more step ahead on this long walk.
Hindsight is 20/20 they say, but if I'd known how well this project turned out, I would have doubled or tripled my contribution!

Disappointed
I've seen the first 48 minutes so far, and I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed. Whining about Ron Paul's media coverage will not convince anyone in my opinion. Maybe I'll feel better about it once I watch the whole thing, but the Ron Paul issue is introduced very badly. Complaining about media coverage as the introduction to Ron Paul in this DVD just makes us look bad.
Here's what the DVD should have done, in my opinion:
1) Talk about what the Republican Party stands for (it already does this)
2) Talk about Ron Paul's voting record and compare it with McCain's. Talk about the times that Ron Paul stood ALONE against even the party itself. How Ron Paul never voted to raise taxes.
3) Mention that Reagan said we need to keep Ron Paul fighting for our country and that Reagan campaigned for Ron Paul in the late 70s.
4) Show that we need someone that will REALLY stand for the constitution even against the Republican party.
5) Then appeal to people's conscience. Convince them that our country is too important to care about what the party wants us to do as delegates. That we should do the right thing.
6) Then it could mention that by nominating him, the media will have to cover him, which means his popularity would skyrocket and he would win. Here it would make sense to mention some of the things in the beginning about how popular he is. With a little bit of media attention he would destroy Obama. There would be no stopping the Republican party with Ron Paul (the new Reagan) as its nominee. It's a guaranteed win. McCain is a friend of the democrats, and like Thomas Paine said "...moderation in principle is always a vice."
Like I said, I haven't seen the whole thing, but so far, this will just make some people angry and some will just laugh at us. The whining that I have seen so far about media coverage does nothing to convince anyone. It should just focus on Ron Paul and why he is the Ronald Reagan of today and ONLY THEN, mention that the media has not given him a chance.
By focusing on the issues, it would have been very hard for anyone to disagree that he is the best candidate. Spending that much time talking about media coverage is ridiculous.

I'm glad I donated to this project! Ron Pauls speach turned many delegates in Nevada to him.. hopefully this week this dvd will do the same to national Mccain delegates!

Well I'm sad to see you didn't like it and were ready to write such a review without finishing the video.
It's too bad you didn't join our team as a volunteer and offere your wisdom and efforts.
Our logic for showing the media bias was to show we had good cause to present Dr. Paul after the official race was "suspended." Otherwise, people would think, "Hey, he lost fair and square, why are these folks bugging us?"
We appreciate that many did appreciate our grassroots effort, and we know that we can't please everyone with any single work.
We did our level best with the time, talents and resources at our reach, and at least we did it.

To suggest that I don't care about getting Ron Paul elected because I disagree with the strategy used in the DVD, is just plain ignorant.
I'm a delegate and I'm spending a lot of money to go to Minneapolis and vote for Paul.
Learn how to debate. Either you agree with the points that I made, or you disagree, but don't make this about something else. I wouldn't be a delegate if I didn't care. There are other things I could have done with my $3,000.
And I do remember saying, "in my opinion," which like you said, I am entitled to.
Like I said, I might have a different opinion after watching the second hour. I do appreciate the work done and I think the packaging was excellent and professional. I'm not saying I dislike everything in it. I'm saying some of the stuff like the Google Trends part should have been done at the very end not as an intro.

Idea to Raise Money
Why not raise money for DVD2 by selling copies of DVD1?

We can't sell the DVDs
We can't sell the DVDs for profit because of the use of copyrighted material. It would be illegal. We used much of the material, legally, under the Fair Use provisions of the law, and can not sell the material for that very reason.
We will make copies available at manufacturing and shipping cost next month, for those who wish to own one.

Packaging Working Perfectly!
My wife called me at work today, and one of the things that she said was "You've got some watching to do". She had no idea that it was a "Ron Paul thing", and she was convinced that it was important for me to watch before the convention.
Way to go! Excellent job, at least outside the packaging. I will watch some of it tonight and may post a follow up.
