We need to put on our thinking caps to come up with ideas to get the rest of these tickets sold. We cannot give the RNC and the MSM a reason to write us off publicly because we couldn't even sell out the event. There is nothing more they would love to see than having the R4R not sell-out!
We need to come up with ideas, and then we need to implement them. We only have one more week left! Time is running out!
What can we do? Any ideas?

Advertise, advertise, advertise
I have friends in Minneapolis who were not aware of the Rally. I would have thought there would be enough money in our coffers to advertise the hell out of the local area; posters everywhere, print media and TV as well. "ARE YOU GOING?" ads...anything and everything within 100 miles of the Target Center that can be papered should be pasted over with ads, posters, and powerful slogans and challenges to rise up and take charge of this process, by sheer numbers and clear purpose. Nightly street rallies should be going on all over the city...etc. ,etc. ARE WE DOING THIS?? God, I hope so.

Well, seems like
they need to concentrate are getting people who live in the state are close by. That way people don't have to pay for lodging. How many Ron Paul groups are in the area, meet-ups, colleges, churches etc. Heck, maybe they could give tickets to military personnel who show up and can prove they are in the service currently. Do some advertising in the area, is it well known in the area that the rally is to be held? Peace

I downloaded the C4L pdf's. The students are moving back in droves this week, so I'll be busy all week tacking up flyers around campus.

I just went to ticketmaster & typed in Rally for replublic and they came up at this price. Is this just so they can counteract all the overpriced fees & handling & taxes they pile on? Or did the ticket price really go from $17.76 to 15.76?

The ticket price was $17.76 including the handling fee - it is THIS price to which Ticketmaster adds on all the fees.
However, people can go to http://rallytickets.eventbrite.com and get tickets to the Rally for the Republic for $20 INCLUDING ALL FEES!
