I am personally not for
this. I will NOT have my children "chipped". The "chip" I believe is not the problem. The problem is what it can lead to if someone uses it in a sinister way. A gun is not dangerous until it is given to someone 1)inexperienced or 2)wanting to use it for something bad. I want to have a choice, a real choice with all the information before anyone imposes anything on my family. I know it is not mandatory, yet. But what if it does become mandatory - like how some states did with Guardisal. I just don't like how they present it is something a "responsible, loving parent would do". Bull! My husband and I are very loving and responsible parents who watch our kids- like hawks. I don't entrust just anyone with my children. The chances of a child being abducted are slim. Most cases are from family members or people they know. Parents, get involved with your children or someone else will. I know, I've been a therapist for many years and have heard many sad stories. In most cases, it's been do to parents who were not actively involved in their kids lives, they were too busy with their own.
I'm sorry about how long winded I got but I get very upset when it comes to playing on parents fears to benefit others pocketbook.

that for me. The problem I have ( in general) is when places use stats to frighten parents into things. The average person can't or doesn't want to understand the stats and probabilities therefore follow what they are told. This program may be a very innocent and wanting to be helpful but is it really necessary? Can it be used to harm instead of help? I believe that is what most people have issues with regards to this when they question it. Many of us feel our liberties are slowing being taken away. It is called the "Boiling Frog Theory". Put a frog in boiling water and it will jump out. But, put the frog in water and slowly boil it - it will stay and get accustomed to it. I don't want to be the frog in the pot - period. Can you understand the concern?

Alot of comments to try to address, but I'll do my best to my best to answer them honestly based on my personal experience and knowledge.
Q. What does having our childrens DNA, TeethPrints, Finger Prints, Picture, and SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, do to keep our kids safe?
A. It does not keep them safe. It aids in finding missing children. Arguably finding them faster lowers the risk of bad outcomes.
Q. Besides how does giving that information help keep our kids from being abducted?
A. It does nothing to prevent abduction. That is the job of vigilant parents. But children wander off, and children are abducted. It is in this time of crisis that the information given to parents is of great importance.
Q. AS for your GUARANTEE that everything gets wiped out, blah blah blah..... Do you honestly think the people here are dumb enough to fall for that?
A. I do not think people are dumb. I do know the hard drives are erased at the end of every event.

A. This ID program has nothing to do with the federal government.

A. I am a mason and I am very active in helping the cause. I oppose the use of RFID in any kind of identification system. I oppose the forced use of RFID in livestock. I would never be involved in anything that created any kind of database for later use. I am just as concerned with privacy and big brother as anyone here.

Conspiracists call truth seekers conspiracy theorists. Truth seekers usually don't even use the word. It seems to be rule number one to call a person who is uncovering the truth and getting too close a conspiracy theorists. It is so common and is used to discredit because the person is getting real close.

They happen all the time. That's why laws against them have been in place for at least a few hundred years.
