Arrests already happening in Minneapolis

Arrests are being made on "protesters" and journalists already. Some of the journalists were looking for the Minneapolis Fema Camps. I like how the cops are asking "So, what are your travel plans? Do you have your papers or I.D.?

Off camera the police said " their not in the business of infringing on peoples rights" ,SO why do they ?

to mail or otherwise ship your cameras and laptops to your destination hotel. I should also mention that the very best way to record political events where the police are likely to mess with you is via a live transmission link to some remote recording device. YouTube's direct upload capability for cell phone cameras is one possibility, but there have to be others.

From the first link (note particularly the second paragraph):

In a separate incident, police detained three so-called citizen journalists from New York. They said they were coming off a Metro Transit bus when Minneapolis Police officers stopped them and questioned them about their travel plans.

They were not arrested, but police did confiscate video equipment and a laptop computer. The incident report classified the incident as Homeland Security issue.

Be careful in MN, kids.
