He's great on Privacy and Foreign Policy issues,

but he's a complete MORON when it comes to the issues of economic and social policies.

GO Dennis

UGH

He's solid on only a few issues. But I cannot believe some people constantly post Kucinich garbage regularly because of those issues.

This man said today and I quote "health care is a right". If you can point out the enormous FUNDAMENTAL flaw with that statement then you will understand why so many people do not like him.

Dennis sounds like...

a good little socialist to me...who's going to pay for the reduction of carbon emissions? who's going to pay for health care for all? why are they going to take my hard earned money, and my freedoms...and give me more bureaucracy? how can it be afforded? sounds like slavery to me....

2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Most of you haven't been listening...

Not only was Kucinich the only person in congress to present articles of impeachment (late or not, NO ONE ELSE DID) but he has also been a strong advocate in supporting Ron Paul, even at the risk of not being true to his democratic party, he said, while he was still running, without hesitation, that he would want Ron Paul as a VP, this in turn helped draw suppporters of his who would not even look in RP's direction to take notice, I would not doubt that many even started supporting RP after Dennis dropped out. I also would not doubt that the opinions and closed-minded, and often ignorant manner in which many of you carry on had pushed them right back over to the left side of the spectrum. Maybe it is some of you who need to Wake Up! Watch our man here on Kucinich: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=Qx9a4hNeIRo

He says they only agree on the war

and disagree on economics. That's a huge difference. Paul is capitalist and Kucinich is a socialist.

Watch it to the end...

Even Ron Paul states that he would be willing to compromise on social programs if the conditions were right that we could afford it.

Not quite.

He says he would only accept saving money from overseas spending to take care of people reliant on social programs, as a "transition period," on the way to eliminating them.

This is not Kucinich's philosophy. His philosophy is that government (taxpayers) has a responsibilty to take care of people. It's completely upside down to what Ron Paul believes, that the people should be self reliant and take care of each other through voluntary means rather than be forced to by welfare state.

Quote from Kucinch:

"Provide work not welfare for those able to work." The only big difference is what to do about those who are unable to work, and where their support should come from, Ron Paul says charities, Kucinich believes government should be able to take care of it's people at times when they need it. Both seem to agree that due to the conditions we have now, pulling the plug on SS, medicare, etc., would hurt many people, neither of them want that, and you cannot just suddenly rely on "charity" to jump in and help some 85 yr. old on a small pension and reliant on SS and medicare if you just dumped the system suddenly, it's a nice dream, it just is not feasible, morality has declined, people are less concerned about their fellow citizens. It's not going to be an easy transition to self reliance.

Provide work?

The government should not be providing work or welfare. It should only be protecting liberty. Kucinich believing that goverment should take care of people and Paul believing it should be charities is a HUGE difference. It's the difference between socialism and libertarianism. Yes, I know that Paul is in favor of a gradual elimination. But Kucinich in not in favor of that elimination. He wants to EXPAND the welfare state. Paul wants to eliminate the minium wage. Kucinich want to increase it. And so on.

I love it.

You are still under the premise that it's two parties in today's America. Thomas Jefferson was a democrat. What's up with that.

Thomas Jefferson was not a socialist.

"Democrat" is not a philosophy. It's just the name of a party. Being a Democrat doesn't not make one a socialist. That's not what this about.

Thomas Jefferson was a "Democratic Republican," by the way, not a "Democrat."

Preferred rises 2 points on the respect-o-meter.

I get tired of hearing "Thomas Jefferson was a democrat", "Thomas Jefferson was a liberal". (Then some sophistry about the dictionary definition of the words.)

Jefferson was far, far to the Right, politically, of any leader in either of the two big government tax-and-spend parties.

He's socialist

socialist enough to be accurately be called a socialist.

“It is time for new thinking. Instead of the oil companies taking over ANWR for drilling, we ought to be talking about taking over the oil companies. They have gouged the American people. They control our politics. They have ignored the growing global environmental crisis. The lust for oil has put us on a path to war. It is time for new thinking. We should be talking about a windfall profits tax, breaking up the oil monopolies, or even taking over the oil companies, not sacrificing ANWR. Esau thought his birthright didn’t mean much. Will we, like Esau, come to regret that we have never claimed our right to control over our own natural resources, our own environment, our own nation?" -Kucinich

The statement that society has a natural right to own resources in common, IS socialism. That's THE premise of socialism. Of course he's a socialist. And only a socialist advocates a government takeover of oil companies. That's what Chavez did.

Besides not caring that all the socialism he wants is not permitted by the Constitution, he also wants ban handguns..

Kuninch is definitely more "liberal" than McCain. How can you even ask that with a straight face?

Seriously McCain is about as liberal as they come.

He was wanting to be Kerry's VP in 2004 for Christs sake. However Dennis is thinking in America's best interest and not the Globalist community. Yes I know he's socialist.. But he's thinking America first and not the Industrial Military Complex. Plus too he and Ron Paul are good friends.. regardless of his liberalism.. which is more than I can say about the Neo-Cons in the GOP.

impeach Kucinich

for stealing from the hard working Americans and giving it to the lazy scum.
Ron Paul forever!

UNFORTUNATELY,THIS IS REALITY!

Me thinks that DK first drank the cool-aid, then grabed his nose and towed the party line with this "speech." This is an example of political expediency to the hilt for the sake of 15 seconds of fame. However, DK neglected to site his sources used in this bit of rhetorical, gibberish nonsense. We saw right through this crap, but I doubt few others in attendence did.

I say the following without reservation:

If the situation was reversed and if given the same opportunity to deliver a party-generated contrived speech at the RNC extolling the virtues of John McCain, I am 100% certain that Ron Paul would decline.

That is the difference between "us" and "them."

I know all of you would say the very same thing. We are idealists in what we believe and and expect no less of people that we support. We have had a great teacher to enable us to quickly identify the crap from truth.

Now that's the way

to talk to brain dead americans! Why didn't he jump around and spout Obamaisms like that during the race?

It was painful to hear him say up with jobs, up with wages and in the same breath say up with free trade. Ughhh

He forgot to mention ...

There's not a dime's worth of difference between Obama's brand of black power communism and McCain's brand of lily white Nazism for the little guys ... who get all the grief and pay all the bills in either system.

Very self-serving, if you ask me! Yes, it was a chance for DK to garner national attention but, what good does that do him? His listeners, much as they cheer, are powerless to choose the candidates they like and those who do choose the candidates would never choose DK!

He should have kept his mouth shut.

wtf?

I had to shut this off when he said ''Up with Obama!! I am furious. He doesn't get it.What a hypocrite he is!! Up with Ron Paul. I will write him in.To hell with the others. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
