A Meetup Site in NE Florida working with the Republican Liberty Caucus posted information regarding the Neo-Conservatives and has been working to promote the Cause of Liberty.
A group in South Florida called Americans Against Hate http://www.americansagainsthate.org/ are attacking the liberty movement for speaking against the Neo-Conservatives and AIPACS influence on U.S. Foreign Policy.
Americans Against Hate issued an widely broadcast email all over Florida the night before the Florida primary election this week smearing the Liberty candidates as being anti-Semitic. I received the email and am trying to figure all of this out.
The email and press release sent our looks like this:

AMERICANS AGAINST HATE CALLS ON RLC TO REMOVE HATE MATERIAL FROM SITE AND TO DISCIPLINE OFFENDERS
( Jacksonville , FL ) Americans Against Hate (AAH) is calling on the National office of the Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) to take action against one of its chapters, the RLC of Northeast Florida, for posting anti-Semitic material on its website.

AAH Chairman Joe Kaufman stated, "The anti-Jewish content found on the RLC Northeast Florida website is both offensive and dangerous. It goe s way beyond simple criticism of Israel and those that support the Jewish state. We call on the RLC leadership to take the necessary action against its Northeast Florida chapter. That includes taking down the offensive material and possibly cutting ties with those that are responsible for its existence on the website." (END)
The RLC does not promote association with bigots, hate-mongers: anti-Semites, white supremacists, anti-Muslims, or discrimination based upon religious affiliation.
The RLC has blacks, whites, gays, athiest, jewish by religion, Israeli by heritage, Baptist, Catholic, Athiest, Mormon, Lebanese, Indian (India), Hindu, etc. They have 1 test - Liberty and the US Constitution and US Sovereignty. All are welcome. The message of freedom will unite all races, sex, orientation, religion and ethnicity.
So please review the website the AAH has a problem with and let us know if there is anything that is offensive.

Those concerned about the intimidation techniques against the liberty candidtes are asked to respectfully contact and ask him to put America 1st.

Our people (my ancestors) for centuries through today, have been picked on, persecuted, and name-called, perhaps more and longer than any other religious group in existence. Being defensive and sensitive and protective has certainly found its way into our genes. I would say, QUITE truthfully, that if you do not want to be called anti-semitic, that you just plain stop talking, about Jews as a group. Most of us are well educated, and have tried very hard to make a good living. We are an artistic and humanitarian group, mostly, and we abhor injustice. Like every other ethnic group, we have some that are horrible, I am sure. However, because of the history, you can not safely even go after the horrible ones, once you say they are Jewish, without being branded as an Anti-Semite.

My only problem with those who cry "anti-semitism" is that, as far as I am concerned, Judaism is a religion, not an ethnicity.
Certainly there has been enormous persecution of Jews throughout the centuries, but what is a Jew? I would argue that a person with a "Jewish-sounding" last name, who is a practicing atheist/agnostic, is no more a Jew than a person with an Irish-sounding last name who worships Yeshua.
There is no such thing as a "Catholic race"--why is there such a thing as a "Jewish race"?
