We are not anti-immigration. Not even close.

Pro-Legal Immigration?

That still doesn't sound right...

What's the sound bite phrase that describes our stand on immigration?

This country has always welcomed immigrants, it's part of our vitality as a culture. All of us but the originial inhabitants are either immigrants or the children of immigrants, a tradition to cherish and be proud of.
People come seeking freedom and economic opportunity, it's a testament to our success as a nation. I would hope each border state will develop a humane and efficient process to both welcome newcomers and assist them to integrate and contribute to our culture and economy.

I linked the exact same article here around 6 this morning when it had a different title and was on Yahoo front page headline news. But TE pi**ed on my poptarts ..AFTER I taught myself how to copy/paste just so that I could link it for my DP pals and BEFORE i even had a cuppa coffee...I felt bad for giving my hubby (Dave) a bad rap for linking crap... and Just so you all know (not that it matters), Dave has only posted here once....all the rest have been the silly/emotional female in the family.
