Ron Paul must run 3rd Party or endorse a candidate.

Hypothetical,

If Ron Paul endorsed Bob Barr would you vote for Bob Barr.

To me this question has only one answer.

To me, I would vote for whoever Ron Paul endorsed.

Actually, the best thing is that Ron Paul will announce a 3rd party run with Jesse Ventura, but that likelihood is extremely small.

There is no better person on the face of this planet than Ron Paul when it comes to the American Ideals of Liberty, Freedom, and Constitutional Law.

He has forgotten more about government, than most of us will ever know.

I would follow him to hell and back. And if he said to vote for Mickey Mouse, then I would vote for Mickey Mouse.

So, what is the purpose of this post?

I believe that we need an endorsement from Ron Paul.

An endorsement would unify the Revolution.

An endorsement would let us fight together for what Ron Paul thinks is best.

Believe me when I say, that Ron Paul knows exactly what we believe, because the DailyPaul is the pre-eminent Ron Paul site on the Web.
Michael Nystrom also worked on the Campaign for Liberty site.

Everything that is said, debated here makes its way back to Ron Paul.

We should demand an endorsement from Ron Paul if he is not going to run 3rd party.

Only then can we focus our efforts as the true patriots that we are, to most effectively bring positive change to our country.
I have seen many YouTube videos about MSM reports and Ron Paul has only said good things about Bob Barr. He has never officially endorsed him, but if Ron Paul felt that his supporters were against his better judgement, how could he endorse Bob Barr and not feel like he was betraying the hard core Ron Paul supporters.

I firmly believe that we need Ron Paul to endorse somebody, anybody, so that we can unite and continue the fight for our freedoms. Read everything that I have ever posted, and you will see that tonight is the first night that I even considered Bob Barr.

Why?

Because, I have a feeling that if Ron Paul looks out over the political landscape, he may see only Bob Barr as the best candidate of all the candidates running. Maybe I am wrong, and Chuck Baldwin is the man that Ron Paul percieves as being the best alternative.

At any rate, we should not limit, by our zeal, the options of our leader Ron Paul.

WE NEED AN ENDORSEMENT, FOR THE SAKE OF OUR MOVEMENT.

I fervently hope that he endorses someone, I give him all the slack in the world, but I cannot sit idly by and think that if he doesn't endorse somebody, and I had the chance to make a difference, that I didn't act.

I agree with your premise, that any good movement requires leadership and direction from the leadership, but the title is, as you know, misleading. Deception is never positive.

Nobody needs to be told whom to vote for...and Ron Paul will be the last one to tell you whom to vote for. He has said this several times. The C4L is strong because of the message it carries, not because of a particular candidate.

Again, dare to stand for yourself, take responsibility!

Thats a fact of life. I have never heard Ron Paul say any such thing.

Ron Paul is in the best position to advise his following as to who best represents them.

Unity will empower us, and only Ron Paul can bring that unity.

And I would follow whatever Ron felt was best. As you know, he has never caved to lobbyists or personal gain, his word is political law as far as I am concerned.

The thing is, you know how very smart and honorable Ron Paul is. That's part of why you support him. I just think you need to trust his judgment.

As for me, I am writing in Ron Paul this one election. In the end, a vote for the other candidates will not make any difference. That is what I believe to be true.

2 things.

1) I will always trust his judgement, but consider this, if Ron's judgement was to support Bob Barr and all Ron saw from the DP was anti Barr, that would put him in a predicament.

2) If Ron Paul endorses somebody, then writing in Ron Paul's name will be counterproductive to Ron Paul's Revolution. And unless a candidate jumps through 101 hoops, the write-in ballot will be discarded, signifying nothing.

Our best bet is to a)have Ron run as a 3rd party(highly unlikely) or b)get Ron Paul to endorse somebody that we can promote.

If we were able to capture say 15% of the vote, we would not win the White House, but we would send a powerful message that the people are sick and tired of what they've been getting and are ready for some real changes.

Our best bet right now would be to implore Ron to either run or endorse.
Either way we would be a force to reckon with.

Right now, there is too much division, we need UNITY.

Think about it.

I can see how important this is to you. If you look at it this way though, the unity you wish for is there already. Everyone of us here have been changed this past year. We are all united in our desire to carry Ron Paul's message into the future long after this election is over.

Take this Daily Paul site for example. Look at the strong connections we have made with virtual strangers from all over the country.... no, all over the world. We are united because of a little known Congressman with an impeccable voting record who became our champion of the Constitution. To me that is remarkable.

It is a post designed to get people talking about our true purpose.

We need an endorsement from Ron Paul to Unify our efforts for Liberty.

Bob Barr is just an example. If Ron asked me to vote for Chuck Baldwin, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Ron Paul knows more about what is going on in Washington than we could ever hope to know.

...vote for Bob Barr for the same reasons Ron Paul will NOT endorse him; Barr is an interventionist, plain and simple, and he's very naive (at best). He actually buys into the whole war on terror nonsense... the bogeyman Osama bin Laden and his massive army of radical islamo-fascists are going to destroy us... yeah... sure. Doesn't seem very intelligent to me, and if he were Ron Paul on everything else, his interventionism would stifle progress. Can't get rid of the Fed and continue with this mindless, costly, endless War.

And, let's not kid ourselves... voting for Bob Barr would basically be a protest vote... he cannot win... he isn't even on the ballot in some states, right? So my protest vote is going to Ron Paul.

Write in Ron Paul... it's the right choice.

2) All votes for freedom at this point in time are a protest vote.
There is nobody that we could support right now, that represents Ron Paul's mesage, that could win the White House. The best that we can do is a protest vote, and the biggest protest vote in history.

If I have that right then I have to conclude that you are missing the essence of the Campaign for Liberty. It is between you and your Creator whom you vote for, Ron Paul has given you the skills and the knowledge to make this choice in freedom. I believe that Ron Paul has far more wisdom in politics than I could ever hope to possess.

If Ron Paul endorsed somebody, then I would vote for him.

And I am quite certain that most of you would follow Ron's lead.

That is why we need an endorsement from Ron Paul.

That would be the one thing that would unify us and prevent us from useless bickering about candidate A or candidate B.

We need a focus for our energy.
