Palin pregnancy rumors drive Internet traffic over holiday

The people who are disturbed by the coverage of this are missing the point. A "hard" news story on abuse of power by McSame will not generate the kind of news that a sex related scandal will, it won't come close. To me there are all kinds of valid reasons for us to be looking and watching this story, the least of which is to see how it effects the political "game" as it is, but more so how this can be used as a distraction while other commit their misdeeds.

I have my own growing thoughts on this - call it my conspiracy theory. My thinking is the McSame people knew about this, and other possible issues on this woman, and they also know this woman wasn't ready for prime time. This woman's family is going to be ripped and torn to shred by the media, and the McSame people really don't care as they only care about one thing - getting HIM elected. Once they use her to fool the conservatives long enough, she will be throw out with yesterday's trash. How that could be done could happen in any number of ways, one giving her the chance to resign over pressure from it.

Keep in mind these people are scum and they play dirty. Winning is more important than a few lives that may have to be sacrificed. Bottom line, does anyone really think after the way the gave RP the shaft that they won't do it to this woman?

UPDATE AS I POST THIS: It now looks like she has admitted that the daughter is pregnant. Hmmm... I still think I'm right about this.

When there's so much to go after McCain just go to www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com and there's tons of stuff that the "News" should be bringing up.

What a sham the news has become-now they're down to attacking innocent children and their mothers rather than war criminals.

I find it just fascinating how afraid the "Democrats" seem to be of this Palin woman. I think the fact that a "normal" person is in front of the camera really shows the populace the contrast with the Washington Elite Class, and that has them scared. She is an "outsider" and they are just going NUTS over this. I suppose that this means that strategically McCain's people made a wise choice.

On this nonsense with the baby not being hers.... I watched one video on this and it is REALLY weak. First of all they show a photograph showing Bristol looking big in the tummy. But the picture is admittedly from 2006! Now I gotta tell ya that if a girl is pregnant for TWO YEARS that WOULD have made some news. Then they show a family photo from 2007 and to me this girl looks like she lost some weight and looks normal. Seems to me they have a real problem with their theory.

Their second point seems to be that Bristol wouldn't have needed to take 5 months off school for Mononucleosis. The narrator on the video claims he himself had a "really serious" case of Mono and was only out of work for 10 DAYS. Well, my sister had Mono in grade school and was out for 12 WEEKS. My daughter in law had it in college and was out for an entire SEMESTER. This is NOT a 10 day illness! If this girl was out for 3 months with Mono, and then it was decided that to catch her up in school a home tutor would work better, and therefore she just stayed home for the rest of the school year, this is a perfectly realistic scenario.

I frankly don't care, in that I'm not voting for McCain either way, but I DO find if fascinating that these people are so OUTRAGEOUSLY AFRAID of this woman who provides SUCH a contrast to the evil, corrupt Washington crowd. Just too funny that the thought of the people seeing someone REAL vs. the normal Washington ghouls has them so afraid.

I dont know in alaska families are the focus much more than driving for endless climbing of corporate ladders.

Its not surprising that in this situation if it shifts from her pregnancy to her unwed daughters that people will have to sort this out.

But between the downs pregnancy and the unwed daughter for conservatives there will be many that will make this the poster child against abortion arguements.

People need to be more worried about the war on terror being reshaped into an operation of defense than a bludgent nazi like future for our country that could get even worse blowback.

They need to focus on an out of control central banking system that isnt even elected by the people.

They need to focus on illegal immigration and brutal crimes that killing tens of thousands a year...

In all do respect to mrs palin...if she has pulled a fast one as a buchanite on john ...and will continue to do some over these propaganda issues...more power to her and her family.
