Don't Be Deceived By Gustav - GOP Will Try To Break The Rules at RNC

The GOP is desperate right now...this whole Gustav excuse is a total lie!

Their actions speak louder than their rhetoric.

They don't want a heavy media focus on their own convention. Could it be any more obvious? The reason why they don't want alot of media attention on the RNC is because of the RPC - Ron Paul Convention and the R4R.

Are you kidding me...Schwarzenegger cancels his speech, so does Bush, and Cheney? McCain orders his own convention to be curtailed because of a hurricane? This is totally ridiculous.

The storm has been downgraded to a category 2, and it has been reported that it missed New Orleans. In other words, it's basically over and it's not as bad as the old media and neocons were hoping for.

Let's put 2 and 2 together folks...

In my eyes, this is a very big SIGN OF WEAKNESS. They are running scared. They want to hide things...and operate in secret.

Don't be deceived by this Gustav nonsense.

Concentrate on the essential elements of the convention - all the fat is being cut out because of the bogus storm. Does this make things easier or more difficult for us?

To do the essentials in a quick, easy and fast fashion without alot of media attention seems to be their aim. Do NOT let them streamline the convention rules. They are trying to prevent people from paying much attention to their own convention....WHY?

Do they not want people to see what's really happening in the GOP?

Are they going to break the rules?

They are downgrading their own convention for a reason, and it's not because of a hurricane.

Here's the article

Heh -- I just posted excerpts from the article announcing the downgrade and smaller impact of Gustav over here.

I agree; this feels very much like the old Vizzini diversion trick:

Man in Black: Then make your choice.

Vizzini: I will! And I choose... [points behind the Man in Black and gasps] What in the world can that be?

Man in Black: [Turns to look while Vizzini switches the goblets] What? Where? I don't see anything.

Vizzini: Oh, well, I-I could have sworn I saw something. No matter. [chuckles]

Man in Black: What's so funny?

Vizzini: I'll tell you in a minute, but first, let's drink. Me from my glass, and you from yours.

I'm looking forward to an ending with similar results as in the movie.
