There's a bold new look to the Republican Convention in Minnesota and it's not the former Miss Alaska aspirant Gov. Susan Palin, McCain's surprise choice for vice president.
The Rally for the Republic will celebrate the candidacy of Ron Paul (R-TX) for president and the broader movement of Republicans fed up with the degradation of governance and the nation under the Bush-Cheney regime. This is a significant event given Paul's performance in the presidential primaries.

There is a story about a Spartan boy who, in order to conceal a fox which he had stolen, hid it beneath his cloak and allowed the fox to gnaw him rather than let the theft be revealed. You don't seem to be aware that such "small" political movements, like the one Dr.Paul has inspired, has ultimately caused massive reforms and changes within political parties, such as how Barry Goldwater did during the 60s, that reform changed the Republican Party until it was high-jacked by the Leftist Neo-Cons who came out of the Democratic Party in the 70s to inflitrate the Republicans.
Perhaps you could spend your time better by actually reading a book now and again, it would help your arguments if you actually had an argument to present.

Look at those who were in Reagan's Administration, you will find those with Neo-Con leanings that helped usher in the full Neo-Con take-over of the party during the first Bush Administration and the Party during the second Bush Administration.
I have my doubts, unless you are over 60 years old that your reading list could be longer than mine. Once again, I have over 3000 volumes in my personal library, the majority of which are American History, economics and economic history. My actual reading list would probably surprise you sir. You assume a great deal don't you?

Paul is an oppurtunist tuning in to the collective anger of the fring elements of our country. He is in that way not much different from a couple infamous Germans, as one of them wrote a "manifesto" of his displeasure with capitalism, and the other managed to tap into the anger of his people over economic matters, and division of wealth with rallies...
