Restore INTEGRITY IN GOVERNMENT

Suggestions to Senator Webb for his response to President Bush's State of The Union, January 23, 2007

Restore INTEGRITY IN GOVERNMENT

Hello Senator Webb,

Key to me and I believe to many Americans is the integrity of our government. Sad to say, our government no longer has integrity. Many of us simply do not believe anything our government says. Whether it is from the manipulated financial government reports such as CPI, GDP, unemployment, to stock, gold and bond manipulation to the outrageous crimes of 9/11, to the reasons to start war with Iraq, to the current reasons for further escalation of the Middle East War. Unfortunately many of us have come to expect lies and the wimpy media just goes along. The media in our country is broken as well.

For our country to have a prosperous future we must begin to restore INTEGRITY IN GOVERNMENT. I can think of no better way than to expose the lies, deceit and crimes of 9/11, as painful as that may be. The THREE WTC Buildings of 9/11 (WTC 1,2, AND 7) were brought down through controlled demolitions (not fires and structural damage). It was an inside job and the Keane-Zelikow 9/11 Report was a pathetic cover-up of omissions and commissions. Start restoring integrity to government by exposing the total truth behind 9/11.

That’s my suggestion to the moronic Bush address. I’m sure none of his advisors would even begin to think integrity is important.

Sincerely

I agree with the other comment - this kind of conspiracy nonsense has nothing to do with Ron Paul and it could accidentally be associated with him and thereby reflect badly on his campaign. The conspiracy lunies can converse on their own dedicated websites, it has no place here. 9/11 was not a controlled demolition or an inside job and the pentagon was not hit with a missle, all of that rediculous garbage has been debunked and only intellectually lazy morons fall for it!

Its not worth spending any more time on, and once again, has nothing to do with Ron Paul.

Are you trying to support him or destroy his reputation via association with idiots? If you are trying to support him, then keep this trash off the site.

Ron Paul calls for new investigation on Jack Blood

Actually, Larry Silverstein ADMITTED that they blew up building 7 with controlled demolitions. Perhaps The Pentagon was hit by a plane, but if so - why is the footage from the countless cameras pointed at the most surveilled area in the world not being released. Also, why are some of the hijackers STILL ALIVE? How coincidental that Marvin Bush was running security. And, how did these nefarious cave-dwelling terrorists make NORAD stand down???!!! To say that the 911 issue has been debunked is brash, as it is the government's story that has been throroughly debunked.

However.....

It doesn't matter what we think about this issue. What is important is what Dr. Paul thinks. Ron Paul stated only two weeks ago that there are many unanswered questions and that he believes we need a true independent investigation.

I believe that Ron Paul is the most honest man in government. Therefore, I believe we should listen when he calls for an independent investigation (i.e. Bush shouldn't appoint the panet)

Please Michael, I implore

Please Michael, I implore you to remove stuff like this from your website. I would never dare tell you what to do on your site.

But since it reflects directly on Dr Ron Paul, I think you bear some responsibility. We must not let crap like this detract from his message.

We all can believe what we want about 9/11. I would agree with the poster here, that 9/11 was at best a TLIHOP(They let it happen on purpose) event. But Ron Paul has not publicly commented on this subject directly.

If I was someone new to Ron Paul, and this was my first stop on getting info on him, I would be disgusted by what I saw in the above comments. Think about it from their point of view. They are newbies and CANNOT be thrust into something that big that soon.

Ron Paul's message will not play in 10 second sound bites, our only hope is engaging people, and making THEM want to know more. If we give the mainstream media and those who are naturally curious but are suspicious of online source any ammo at all, they will use it against Ron Paul and than some.

Please be careful with the message you are crafting here. Use it wisely

Thanks

Point taken, but…

Re: Point taken, but…

Point taken. If the focus of the “dailypaul.com” website is to be towards the “newbies [who] CANNOT be thrust into something that big [the 9/11 myth and the need to expose it] that soon,” then I agree that the suggestion to get to the bottom of 9/11 as a means to restore integrity to government may be inappropriate.

If however, the website is to be more broadly focused on the principles of the constitution, individual rights and responsibilities, and a sound financial system where truth and integrity are paramount, then the points are totally appropriate. The comments that “The THREE WTC Buildings of 9/11 (WTC 1,2, AND 7) were brought down through controlled demolitions (not fires and structural damage). [and] It was an inside job and the Keane-Zelikow 9/11 Report was a pathetic cover-up of omissions and commissions.” are especially important and appropriate and here’s why.

I think it is fair to say that almost everyone will agree that the events of 9/11 were an inflection point in the US government’s foreign and domestic policy. The events of 9/11 were used to justify and enable the war in Iraq, the “war or terrorism,” the so-called “Patriot Act,” an enormous increase in war expenditures and a host of other actions. If the generally accepted conspiracy theory surrounding the events of 9/11 put forward by Washington, is a myth and not true, what could be more important than getting to the truth?

I have spent months researching the events of 9/11, purchased and read over a dozen books, and watched as many DVD’s, and while I’ll admit to understanding maybe 5% of what went on, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the three WTC buildings were brought down by controlled demolition and that the explosives must have been placed at least weeks and months in advance. The presumption that the activities of that day were planned and orchestrated by Osama bin Laden from a cave in Afghanistan is completely ridiculous.

Lastly, having followed and admired Dr. Paul for a couple of years on the financial side of things, I would suggest that, as a candidate for President, Dr. Paul would draw much of his support from individuals who were more willing to try and understand the substance and real content of issues, perhaps those outside of the neatly contained “political correctness” box.

Cheers,
