If they're really going to be taken seriously when they try to rally support, the writer needs to do his research better.
The Bushehr nuclear facility is slightly closer to Tel Aviv than any point within Georgia, so it would not sharply reduce the distance for a bombing run.
Also, the statement that Israeli bombers would have to fly over Turkey to reach Iran is incorrect. The could fly over Armenia or Azerbaijan.
This is not World War 3 happening. This is the beginning of Cold War 2, and it will have the same result as Cold War 1.

Don't fear US vs. Russia, they played on our fear for 40 years to rally our support for various wars. Be smarter than them and realize this is a set plan to rally US and Russian nationalism, thus circumventing our revolution.

...being stationed in Georgia may not shorten the distance to Bushehr, but it definitely helps if they were to strike other targets, especially Tehran.

So, if in fact Georgia was the aggressor and invaded E.Osetia and slaughtered entire villages and torched everything in their path, does that make them terrorists? If they ARE terrorists and we US Government is financing them, does that mean that our government is AGAINST itself and WITH the terrorists? And what sentence should befall anyone who aids & abets a known terrorist?

reported in my small-town newspaper today, Bush plans on rolling out a $1B economic aid package for Georgia this Wednesday...to help the Pro-Western former Soviet republic rebuild after Russia's invasion last month (again nothing about Georgia invading S Ossetia FIRST, forcing Russia's hand). The administration plans on spending half that amount in their remaining 5 months in office, and recommending the incoming President and team continue funding when they take over in January. Where's the money coming from? We need our economy fixed. We need our infrastructures fixed. Is that REALLY what they plan on doing with the money?

the russian targets in order according to talk on the street in russia is Israel, London , and then DC.
The Iranians are joining Russia as we know as well as China. The USbarely has a military left and when you combine the forces of Russia and China alone that is an Army ( with lots of money by the way ) Of over 40 million soldiers at last count who are ready to fight. They won't need to though since if this does happen ( Which I'm sure it will ) It will be a massacre of the US England and Israel that will be over in less than a year.
You see the difference is that Russia doesn't want a war , but if they get backed into a corner they will have no option's but to show the US what it means to fight a real war.
