We know Huffington Post is liberal.

But, since the neocon news networks won't report on Palin's record---I've found Huffington to be a source of info--much of which is verified by data/public records, etc.

The link below has a video to Palin speaking at the Assemby of God Pentecostal Church (AOG) she attended all her life until 2002. She still attends there occasionally. She goes to Church of the Rock too media reports--their web page shows purpose driven variants and dominionism aka: 'kingdom now.' Also mentioned is Wasilla Bible Church. She skips around.

AOG went apostate with the 'holy laughter' debacle and then now has gone purpose driven and worse.

Watch the Palin video midway down the screen on the link on Huffington.

You'll see Palin addressing a class of graduating 'disciples' of AOG.

But, first:

Virtually no conservative outlet is reporting the truth about Palin. She is not a 'reformer'--research her record: stopping bridge to nowhere claims are a false, half-truth--she was fully for it--before she was against it. She is under senate investigation for sorted-power misuses. She raised taxes in Wassila, not lowered...still the town's budget is busted due to her mismanagement of the Wasilla hockey stadium deal gone awry. She is a crony of indicted republican Ted Stevens, still through June 2008---then when she got VP pick--her web site pulled his endorsement. She was co-director of a PAC that raised funds for Stevens. Yes, she was for, and used, the 'good the good ole boy' network before she was against it. Pics of the Palin and indicted Stevens remain all over the web. How about fighting against pork?---no--she regularly lobbied congress and got more than her fair share for Alaska. Somewhat of a tyrant--or even handed? .... she fired most staffers when she got mayor---claiming they were 'not loyal' to her (they had supported her opposition). She was almost recalled for it (town population was about 4,000 then). Does she really relate to the common person or does the family saga comes across much like a Jerry Springer show. I did hear a 'conservative' woman on a radio talk show exclaim she was voting for her saying: 'she eats hot dogs and macaroni and cheese, just like me.'

Aside from her record there is something worse: her 'faith' is modern-day, false teaching...dominionism...'kingdom now' --in this video, we see prophetic boasting, lots of 'destiny' verbiage...everything they/she does is "God's will"--in the video---including the Iraq war---which she on other occasions has claimed she 'knows little about.' Moreover, how is Bush establishing Islamic "democracies" in Iraq--God's will?

Perhaps you know the dangers of "kindgom now" and dominionism ----just watch the video. By the way--did you ever see that video where GW Bush claims that christians and muslims pray to the same God and that Muslims go to heaven too. GW's beliefs (from his own mouth) are so far from the salvation message of christianity---it is evident he is not one. I wish christians had seen that GW video before--those false prophet Limbaugh and Hannity convinced millions to vote for the man.

I wish millions of christians could see this Palin video---but, I doubt that all but only a few would know the implications of what McCain has done---and what a fickle woman in power, claiming the name of Jesus, can do. I think it is Isaiah or Jeremiah where God's curse over the nation for disobedience became that the 'young' and 'women' will rule over you. Making a grand mess while at it. Oh...I am a woman.

Watch video of Palin at Asssembly of God Pentacostal--June 2008.

The Domination / Manifest Destiny...

Doctrine can be very dangerous in a public official. "When It is G-ds Will" to do something then all your opponents become evil, and this justifies great evil.

The Best Defence is an Offense of knowing the scriptures more than them combined with profound honesty. This undermines mysticism and unlocks the prison doors holding them captive in the anti-civilization.

The verse you were looking for is in Isaiah 3.

Isaiah 3: 12---
Youths oppress my people,
women rule over them.
O my people, your guides lead you astray;
they turn you from the path.

..The LORD enters into judgment
against the elders and leaders of his people:
“It is you who have ruined my vineyard;
the plunder from the poor is in your houses.

We, spouse and I, are messianic believers--of Jewish descent.

I noted your research on other topics and your web page--we know a little Hebrew---and how to research it with study tools.

Would love to study some of your research out--interesting--but, little time.

I note more importantly, you also recognize the dangers of politicians using: manifest destiny, dominionism, and 'kingdom now' as we see this in the Palin AOG video.

Thanks for feedback. Warn others.

Who cares? She's one of them

Interesting

I watched the video, and I must say that my reaction is not nearly as negative as many here. Here comments about God's will in Iraq was not a statement that it was God's will, but rather that what our country did there would be God's will. There is a big difference there. I may have doctrinal differences with her particular denomination, but I have differences with nearly every denomination as I am sure they have differences with me. The key is where she stands in the fundamentals of the gospel -- like those listed in the Apostle's Creed.

This video demonstrates that her faith does play very strongly into her actions which is not a bad thing! I want someone who is genuine and whose faith shines throughout their life. This after all is what also intrigued me about Ron Paul: his political views are shaped by his Biblical worldview. Behind all of his political views, you can see evidence of his faith.

One important thing to note here is that Christianity is not inherently political, and you cannot say that any particular political issue is decisively Christian. The argument of big government versus little government is a good example. You will find that there have been solid Christians on both sides of the argument. However, behind them all you will see a common faith that values the lives of individuals (created in the image of God), honesty (You shall not bear false witness), and justice.

All of that being said, I still have serious concerns about Palin. My biggest fear of any new politician is how will they handle the temptations of power. Ron Paul has resisted well in his 20 years in congress all the while rejecting lobbyist bribes and the government pension program. Palin has had very little experience with such things. However, she has shown a propensity to sacrifice her family for the sake of her political career as evidenced by her daughter's pregnancy. I am also concerned that she continues to advance her political career when she has a special needs child at home.

Quite honestly, I have not reached any conclusions on Palin yet. There is a part of me that wonders if she may very well be someone through whom this revolution could gain access to the White House. She does have very strong conservative values, and she has supported liberty minded people like Buchanan in the past. If she can stay true to her roots and reject the siren call of power, she may very well be a sign of hope, at least in politics. If.

She is right about one thing in her speech: the changes that need to take place really require a transformation of the hearts and minds of the people of this country. We need revival and repentance, an acknowledgment of our guilt in abandoning the law of God (or even just the Constitution for those of you who do not believe in God) and a desire to return to the path of justice and righteousness. I think everyone one of us would agree that liberty, truth, and justice should be the ruling principles of our country, but too many people, Christians and non, in this country have allowed compromise to take us away from that.

Is Palin worth supporting? I am trying to stay open-minded about this as I consider the pros and cons, but I am inclined to say "no". I could not make myself vote for McCain in 2000, so why I should I vote for him now?

Still, she gives me some pause, and I will be prayerfully considering what course of action I should take. I will grant McCain this: he has made this election a lot more interesting.

I hate being so

I hate being so disrespectful of your post seeing how your tone was calm and thoughtful, but your reaction is exactly the same as those who heard the bush speech: "more humble foreign policy", "no nation building", "smaller government".....he's not such a bad guy if he's for all those things. right?!!!

your pause is exactly the intended effect that the mccain camp was looking for.

bullseye.

they said exactly what you needed to hear to give you pause. it's lip service. they found the person most easily molded for the job they required...to give you pause.

they just want the chance, the opportunity...

to bring in the bible belt holdouts.

they're doing a damn fine job...

it seems the political machinery is hitting on 8 cylinders

and full steam ahead

No Disrespect

I don't think you are being disrespectful when you offer a counter argument. In fact, I have had the exact same thoughts and concerns. However, just as I didn't rush to a hasty judgment on Ron Paul (and dismiss him outright in my previously misguided ways), I want to make sure that I give her a chance. They may just overestimate their ability to control her.

That being said, your points are quite valid. She is almost too good to be true.

It is not a bad thing to pause and consider your course of action to make sure that you don't need to correct course. If nothing else, you can emerge from the other side even more confident of the course you had originally chosen.

You're too civil. :-) Well

You're too civil. :-) Well I'm definitely experienced with that rush-to-judgment thing.

10 years ago I fell for the demonization of Pat Buchanan.

After seeing Ron Paul demonized, I went back and looked at Pat's situation and realized that I'd been fooled.

as GW would say, "fooled man can't get fooled again!"

(chuckle)

well, I guess my rush to judgement on Mrs. Palin is not on her character, but on the side she's chosen.

She may might be of strong character and a great person. If that is so, it won't be for long if McCain wins.

I believe there were a lot of honorable people in the Bush administration that had to sell their souls.

Aye ..

...... A lot more interesting indeed.

I might be the only one around here...

But I like her. A lot. A grass roots conservative who has made it to the big stage. This women is an Alaskan. Those people up there have fierce independent/liberty streaks. I'm telling y'all, she is one of us.

Too bad she is not at the top of the ticket. I can't vote for McCain/Palin unless it is revealed that McCain is terminally ill between now and election day.

And regarding the accusations etc... being thrown about and slung by liberals like Huffington and the MSM. Its what they do when they fear somebody. I don't trust any of it and neither should any patriot. When our own Ron Paul was making a bunch of noise early on in the primaries, the same was done to him regarding the news letters; and if he had made it through as the nominee??? the liberals, socialists, and statists would have been all over him w/ a vengeance as well; assassinating his character, misrepresenting and distorting his record and personal history whenever possible. Its who they are and how they operate. The politics of personal destruction.

Neocon shill

Republicans talk a good game about cutting taxes, advancing liberty, and protecting Americans, but in the end, they are neocons. Palin is an attractive candidate who delivers a good speech and has praised Ron Paul, but unfortunately she is showing herself as a neocon shill.

Hoping that McCain loses big, that the third parties register surprisingly high numbers, that the Republicans do some deep soul searching, and that the Ron Paulites stay fired up to step into the vacuum when things go south under Obama. God bless.

In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.

Neocon Shill

I don't think for a second that she is a neocon shill. She took on the Republican/Corporate Establishment up in Alaska and whipped them.

Yes

the source of her pro-Iraq war issue is to be found with certain church denominations, that influence some in the Religious Right. They are the ones that follow Bush uncritically. The neocons misuse them. Dr. Paul could be able to persuade her in a few sessions/meetings/discussions. Dr. Paul would not have selected her if he was the nominee, he would probably have selected people with more experience and vetted, like gov. Gary Johnson or Mark Sanford.

She has potential for the future, but still too young and inexperienced. If McCain-Palin would win, one is skeptical that she would be able to have any influence on John McCain's philosophy. In the debates and interviews the differences between McCain and Palin's policies may be exposed.

Yes, and Bush/neocons use

Yes, and Bush/neocons use the clueless evangelicals 'leaders' like Dobson, Rick Warren (who does his own using)--who millions follow into the ditch.

PALIN secret

NOT too secret, you watched a video of a secret org. ?
says

"I'm on a mission from God"

echoing the sentiment from that famous Blues Brothers line, Palin told people that the our presence in Iraq is a directive from God.

I worship the same God, Mrs Palin.

I don't remember getting that memo.

I'd like to see a copy of that....oh you can't seem to find it in your records. I see.

OK

I watched the footage of Palin speaking to the master's group at her church. While on the one hand I think she may have been urging prayer that God's will be done and that God guide the US, its leaders and its troops, it seems like she had already decided that God was in favor of her pipeline project.

I'm an agnostic ex-catholic but also a very sporadic visitor to a wide variety of churches, so I'm confident in saying you will find Palin's kind of talk in many churches. I don't consider it extreme or beyond the pale. It doesn't creep me out. Many people are prayerful in church but have more worldly motivations the rest of the week.

I think a study of Palin's record will be far more indicative of what she is likely to do in office than what she has uttered in church.

New Hampshire and Ecuador

Does it creep you out that

Does it creep you out that McCain intends to nuke Iran as soon as he can?

Does it creep you out that Ms. Palin's speech--in context of 'dominionism' (with her son going to Iraq)--could it be anything but her forgone conclusion that this is God's war...as GW believes he doing God's war, as well.

Do you know that many pentecostals teach that the church's role is to obliterate and kill the Islamic religion/people? Yes, McCain courted such a church--until the heat got turned up. Does that creep you out?

Do you know how AOG and many evangelicals are sordidly confused regarding end times, prophecy. So, it seems, is Ms. Palin.

Does it creep you out --that the main focus of this church is to pray for prophetic words to know the future...as they say.

Would it surprise you to learn what you witnessed in this video---in accord with the bible---you witnessed variations of witchcraft.

With your catholic faith, you are not exposed to this type of false teaching---yes, that you note some may see in other churches. Yes, you are correct---it is all over--therefore, it is considered by many as 'normal.'

Does it creep you out to know that 'kingdom now' or 'dominionism' seeks to establish the kindgom on earth---even though Jesus said 'my kingdom is not of this world.'

There is more...but, sadly, christians are simply too uninformed and accustomed to bad theology to see the dangers. That is what I concluded in the main text--when introducing the video.

For any who need more---read about Dominionism or 'kingdom now'--and read up on "Purpose Driven" and there is no way to go back and explain to you the 'holy laughter' mess that began the Assemblies (Palin's church in video) down the road to folly.

Ron seems to be able to say what he means and mean

what he says.

If she said it, she meant it.

Just another neo-con looking to martyr the people I love.
