When will they be voting? Does anyone know what is happening? is there any coverage of it anywhere?

RNC Voting Update??

We're coming up to 10:00pm MN time in less than a half-hour.

Are our delegates in place? Does 10pm still seem to be "the" time?

Here is an AP news story released at about 5:00pm today, Wed. 9/3/08:

Palin jabs at Obama; McCain claims nomination

Excerpt:

The Alaska governor had top billing at the convention on a night delegates also lined up for a noisy roll call of the states to deliver their presidential nomination to McCain.

Does this sound like the AP is either confused, or was there some backroom nomination thing that happened last night after the convention closed, or is this an "ooops--early release" story intended for later, or, just what, do you make of this?
