That was fun - McCain Donation

I am not going to take the credit for this idea since I either read it somewhere here or heard about it from someone I know (I do not remember which).... but....
I just received a donation letter from McCain. It tells the reader how important they are to the Republican machine, etc etc.
So... I couldn't resist. I tore the letter and donation slip into many pieces, carefully stuffed every piece into the return envelope and mailed it back to them, on their dime. :)
In any event, received a similar letter from Barr on the same day (odd). And while I can't support Barr, he is the Libertarian nominee and so will show him the respect of not doing the same thing to him.

I would send McCain a nice donation to express my support for his party--but I have no cat as a pet these days; hence no litterbox.

I send them back with:
Ron Paul material in them.

Tape their envelope to
a box full of BRICKS next time.
Send them a nice, heavy, expensive rejection letter.
I think they'll get the point! :-)
RP2012!
I wonder...
If that would work... brick, fruit cake, anything heavy... :) Or if there is a limit to the "paid return postage"... Maybe I will have to try that next time. lol

Great idea, wish I had
Great idea, wish I had thought of that instead of just shredding it.

Sent mine in too
In God We Trust!
I too, sent my envelope with a short note stating that McCain is a damned liar and war monger, and I stamped the donation envelope with my Ron Paul Official Stamper that I stamp all my FRNs and all my envelopes that I send to anyone.
He's scum for sure that McCain.

I would have cut the pre-paid bar code thingy off the envelope, taped it to a box, and mailed them back some good ol' Alaskan sled dog poop on their dime, with the message: "Here are a few more turds to round out your shitty war-mongering, police state policies."
I sent mine back with a note
I said I would never donate and would not vote for Mc Cain. Mentioned patriot act etc
Agree
I don't support Bob either, but I would send McSame the 10 year old Holiday fruit cake I have been using as a door stop... with his postage paid envolpe attached:)
I received a new one today
I received a new one today containing a copy of my voter registration and a poll asking me to vote republican. The enclosed letter started out out: "Dear friend" So I have a little editing to do to the letter for sending it back. You can bet they will notice the Ron Paul in red magic marker across the front page!
Oh! A new thought. I have a horse and I think I will add a bit of his residue (manure) in the envelope.
lol...
Good! As long as they are paying for the return envelope, I am gonna make sure they hear my message loud and clear as well at every opportunity. It would be a terrible waste of a pre-paid postage letter otherwise.... :)
