this video was meant to show a really fired up enthusiastic appreciation to ron paul and his message . if anything it would increase the curiousity of the person who watched it to want to know more about him. and i'm confident that they will look into it further.i watched the itc forum on cspan and thats all you heard was the issues and what a horrible boring 4 hours that was. the audience was about as excited to be there as paying a fine for a parking ticket in court.
Disaster!
I said it before on the forum topics, but evidently no one was listening. This video should be taken down. Last time I wrote, this video was headlining the campaign's youtube page and now it's headlining the official campaign website!
What is going on? Does anyone realize that scores of people are being led to Ron Paul's campaign site by grassroots people hard at work? So these people who have bothered to look up Ron Paul TO LEARN MORE will be greeted with this video. They will not learn more. In fact, Ron Paul is barely in this video! It's thirteen minutes long! Are these people who are looking Ron Paul up for the first time going to bother with a second video when they have to labor through this long one that doesn't even have any substantial Ron Paul parts?
No disrespect to the young gentleman whose face is frozen on the youtube video, but it should be Ron Paul's face that is shown. We are trying to introduce the public to Ron Paul, and more importantly to Ron Paul's platform.
Furthermore, I don't think showing footage of the parade inside the building served Dr. Paul well at all. Dr. Ron Paul stands for the individual, not for groupthink! Dr. Paul is not a martinet! Having someone shouting "Louder, louder!" into a loudspeaker sends the wrong message. And it was rude to whoever was trying to speak in the background. Doesn't anyone think about these things before posting this sort of stuff?
This 13-minute video should be taken down immediately! I consider it yet another stunning display of the ineptitude of the Ron Paul campaign. I can, however, understand and appreciate having something of the Iowa rally for supporters to see on blogs like the Daily Paul. That's fine. Let's share Iowa. But this video certainly doesn't belong as the headline of Ron Paul's website. And it should have been edited. No marching footage through the building! That march is not what Dr. Paul stands for.
I challenge any of you to debate these points. I also hope you will politely tell the campaign to consider taking down this video immediately and replacing it with something that will entice people who are curious about Dr. Paul and want to learn more, i.e., "Freedom is Popular" or the choice pieces from the latest brilliant speech from Las Vegas.

Popularity is also popular
People who are not seeking truth will never be interested in Ron Paul and his message. People who fear the truth, may find that it's ok to not fear Ron Paul's truth because they will not be alone. These tapes prove that.
Another point about airing videos of supporters as headlines on Daily Paul (A Ron Paul Junkies fix) is that "burn out" is common with activists. People get fired up, spend bucks, and don't always get results. The videos showing Ron Paul supporters having a hey day helps those who have hit a slump.
For those of us who have Ron Paul's message, bumper stickers, yard signs, tee shirts, pins, and family and friends who think we're nuts, we need something besides Ron Paul's message everyday. It's one reason I like Daily Paul so much. I like reading what you and others have to say, and what you have to share, sometimes even more than what Ron Paul has to say. I can debate you, but Dr Paul is pretty busy right now, eh?
It's been fun being part of this campaign, and that's important too. So lets have fun, spread the word, the excitment, and the LOVE for Dr. Paul and each other, in the rEVOLution.
