People are so ... I don't want to use the term brainwashed, I will use uneducated. The TV is a very powerful tool.
One caller was almost crying because they enjoyed Palin's speech, saying "with every sentence she was so factual".
Another person interviewed as I type this said she is such a conservative because she gave back some pension money, "that is so unheard of today!".
People are very, very uneducated.

but good try. There are many intelligent people in those two big arenas that have the truth covered up from them by the media. Perhaps "low-tech" would be the right description since you have to have the internet to really understand what is happening-almost. I do have a relative that is almost up with me and not on the internet. Amazes me.

except that it implies you will learn the truth in school and you won't. Schools are owned by the CFR and actually the thousands in the arenas are well-schooled, that is why we cannot get to them. They take a look at some of us and say, they aren't educated. Wrong. You can't tell a book by its cover. Well-schooled should do it, but in our world today, it doesn't do it.

Its one thing to see the brainwashed people that support these two clowns, but for weeks and weeks I've seen the same exact stupid behavior here! For weeks and weeks, people thought RP was going to be nominated, they though he would do a rally at the Rep. convention, they talked about Abe Lincoln, they thought these DVDs would do some miracles.
People like me who pointed out the silliness of this point were called trolls and that we have no faith. No, its just that we knew - with no uncertainty - how fucked up the Repub are. We knew there was no chance, we knew there was less then no chance.
I said perhaps a month ago that I was moving onto my plan B, which was Bob Barr, again people said I should wait, as not doing so if so unfair to the delegates and the hard work they did.
So tonight, I hate to say I told you so, but see this for what this is. The Repubs are DEAD DEAD DEAD to the idea of liberty. After this November, it will be worse, as they will blame us for losing and do even more to shut us out.
Do yourself a favor and say goodbye to them. Make yourself feel good and say it like "goodbye and fuck ya all". Then join the LP, start a meetup for Ventura, campaign for Barr, but do something productive that has a chance.
I joined the repubs for the first time in my life and I am going to scrape together a few bucks tomorrow and send it to the LP and ask for forgiveness for ever leaving - I know I'll be welcome back, as I love liberty.
I'm sure it feels good
to say, "I told you so." But actually, we knew everything you were saying was 99% probable. Dr. Paul was still running. We were determined to see him through, no matter the consequences. You told us NOTHING we didn't know.
I am eager to hear what Dr. Paul has to say. If he says the C4L is all about the GOP, then I will give that some serious thought. But of course, at this moment, I just want to spit on the GOP. I have wanted to spit on them for a year and a half. Don't get arrogant. We know what you know. We are all individuals and we have to do what we have to do.
Now is the time to get behind Barr-not one minute before now. But this does NOT mean that the GOP is totally abandoned. It depends on how soon we can get a third party viable. If Baldwin had a better chance, he would be my man. But right now, I really don't care who wins as long as it is not Obama or McCain. I would take anyone else at all. Anyone not CFR. Therefore I will choose the one with the best chance.
I just wish the third parties would get together and eliminate all but one. That is the only reasonable thing to do.

This guy was on about 1:17pm Eastern time on C-Span talking about how the Republican party at the convention like made it so Ron Paul could not get any delegate votes or something? Anybody hear the whole call? I did not, I only heard the last part of the call, then the lady said "Thank you for your call" and abruptly shut the man off. Anybody else hear this call?

He was stating his observation that it was "setup" against RP, but he seemed to stumble on his thoughts/words a bit, so she was pretty short with him.
