You want revenge on the GOP?

Get out and campaign for Baldwin or Barr.
Try to convert every conservative you know.
The GOP's evil should not get us down. It should encourage us.

I like it.
Another strategy to work on.
If the GOP wants Civil War, it's Civil War they will get!
I will be notifying the party that after tonight they officially lost any potential support. Palin had my interest (though she's not enough to vote for McCain), but I will now vote for Barr (he seems like he could do the most damage to McCain) and actively campaign against McCain.
And in 2012, we'll return and take control.
If the GOP wants Civil War, it's Civil War they will get!
How will pissing off your
How will pissing off your local GOP help you get on the local GOP committees and become precinct chair?
Blow off steam, but don't blow up your future effectiveness.

Thank you for that.
Grandpa always said "Don't shit in your own front yard".....That means we don't shit on the GOP now then try to come back and get ourselves elected as a national delegate 4 years from now.
If our people want to be in the position to DO something next round, we have to start now.
We can vote for anyone we want, donate money to anyone we want.....But throwing it in the face of the GOP will not get us into the position to actually help RP or RP-Republicans.
You're thinking too small.
You're thinking too small. Playing by "rules" that we didn't invent is a pointless exercise. You know how you get ahead in life? You make the rules.

Then we change the rules.
I can't change GOP rules if I'm not a member.....That has to be done from inside the party.
They set the rules for 2012
on Monday. It's time to get people mad and TAKE back the government. We should have two or three elections with no party affiliations at all. Just like muncipal should be and is in many many places.

Help Barr and Baldwin win
Help Barr and Baldwin win states, with the intention of forcing no Electoral College winner and pledging their Electors to vote for Ron Paul.
Hmmmm
It really is true. We won't back down!!!!!!!! :-)

But which States? A co-ordinated effort is needed so Cs & Ls are not sapping each others' strength.
Federalist Fusion to put Dr Paul in the White House.

Ok you third party nuts
I am sick of this third party bullshit. WTF do you think they want us to do. They want to put us away. Get us out of their elite club. The Third party bullshit is just for that. So we can FEEL like "Oh yeah we make a difference" while they sit there smiling and patting each other on the back for successfully marginalizing us. WAKE UP people. You think the third party is some safe haven. Where the powers that be don't have there hands ever touching the purity of the cubicle set aside for US. We the liberty seekers. Hence the libertarian party. Are you so blind? After all this you still cannot see how bad its is....Its all the same bullshit. How the hell can you third party heads not see this????? The public at large see third party and think "Fucking hippies". Do you know how I know? Cause I was once the public at large. Dont you see. God I cant take the trolls anymore. THIRD PARTY NOW! THIRD PARTY UNIFICATION! We must join a third party now! Fuck no we don't. We have our foots in the door and all you want to do is leave? WTH are you thinking?
You think Ron Paul is nuts?
It was an alternate party that gave him his first nation-wide base of support, and it was they who got the ball rolling on this campaign. Joining an alternate party is an excellent way to express what one wants, especially if it's The Party of Principle. That's how I first met him: he came to speak at the California LP convention, years ago, and to raise money. He's still considered a Life Member.
Ron Paul has done a great job of teaching the public what a libertarian is. This has been a phenomenal year for libertarians, with the word used more than ever it has been in my life.
You don't have to join the LP. Stay with the GOP if you feel that's where you can do the most good. Those of us who are in the LP will do our best to run candidates in as many races as we can so that there will be at least one choice in every race that will defend liberty.
There's no need for name-calling. Freedom should bring us together.

There are an awful lot of
There are an awful lot of good men working in third parties that would respectfully disagree with you. There have been an awful lot of political victories that came from third parties. Jesse Ventura ran on a third party, need I remind you.
I can understand you're upset, but you're being irrational.
Huuffff
Ok look...if we have shaken the roots of the foundation why walk away?
To run and hide in a third party cottage. This isn't a governs race. It's the frick'en Presidency. Its been on lock down since Ross scared the big dogs. You are being irrational if you think a governs race is no different from a presidential race. Everything changed for the third party after Ross and to say anything differnt is purely irrational.
So what are you going to do?
So what are you going to do? Write in Ron Paul? Not vote? What's a better alternative?
OK
Ill stop feeding the trolls. Didn't recognize the smell.
That will have an impact!
It will. Remember, they may not win but the percentages that they do get will send a loud message. Other people who would like to vote third party may just be too afraid. When they see the percentages climbing for a third party candidate, they may eventually take the plunge. Say in 2012! How about it? If you do not get a third party looking somewhat viable in 2008, how are you going to get it viable by 2012? This is a job people, it is not a walk in the park.

Heck, I'll be happy with 15% in the Polls prior to the election
We need 15% in the polls to get Barr into the debates. You don't even have to vote for him, just tell the pollsters you will. Unless Barr gets into the debates, they'll be a yawn-fest.
This is a marthon, not a sprint. Ron Paul has said many times that it is easy to get politicians to change - they'll do whatever we want them to do to get our votes. All we have to do is give our votes to someone else and they'll come around.
The LP tries to provide that someone else.

At this point, that will have absolutely NO impact. A massive 9/11 drop Republican registration drive will do nicely.
