I'll be voting for Chuck Baldwin

I watched it my own self in 1994, in Ohio, as a Constitution Party candidate for U.S. Senate (whom I worked for quite fervently for months) had vote totals around 30% in some counties, and then 3% in the next county over, even in large urban areas, where urban/rural differences were not a factor. You cannot tell me that in a large urban area, one county can give a man 38% of the vote, and then just across an arbitrary line on a map, his vote count plummets to less than 5%.

I can not and will not ever believe that we got only 8% statewide in that race. I know in my heart that votes were stolen by the voting machines in that election.

That was the first election I was old enough to vote in. I also covered it live from the state division of elections for a local radio station. I was "on the inside" and yet had the perspective of also having been a volunteer for one of the candidates, rather than just being a disinterested party reporting numbers. I came away from that experience more enlightened than I probably ever wanted to be, on just how much a farce elections are.

Sad, but true.
