DO YOU HAVE TALENT FOR RON PAUL?
Submitted by cbayliss on Tue, 11/06/2007 - 14:27Money is great, but if you don't have it you can still contribute. Don't be afraid to spread the word about Ron Paul to your friends and family. Also, I just saw an amazing commercial created by a Ron Paul supporter. If you have experience creating PROFESSIONAL videos DO IT! Maybe he can use these if they were supplied with the uncompressed version. Be smart, professional and creative. This is Guerilla Marketing. We are doing great.

Variety
is the spice of life. Don't know why they can't show lots of different videos by many artists. That way people will be eager to watch them, as the ads will continuously be fresh. But the message should still be consistent. Then there should be a way for viewers to vote on the one they like best. Interaction. Get them to the website, any RP website. And it gives volunteers something to do besides just watch the numbers climb;)
yes!
I was hanging out w/ about 15 friends who don't care about politics on enight and I was wearing a ron paul shirt. right before i left they asked me mockingly, why should we vote for ron paul? well i went on for about 45 minutes about the monetary situtation, the history of the US involvement in the middle east, his voting record, and how he just wants to follow the constitution. Needless to say, they never heard of any of these kinds of things and many of them are starting to get interested in him.
We have to all become Ron Paul salesman.
I also learned from dr. paul how to keep your cool when being engaged in a debate or conversation. i used to always get real excited and become not smooth, then one debate i noticed how extremely cool he stays even when attacked, and now I stay calm and articulate, allowing me to get my point across clearly.
I love ron paul!

"I stopped the video several times to jot down some notes. "
"Outstanding teaching tool! "
"AMAZING."
"These are great talking points and suggestions."
"I just posted links to all 3 parts in our Meeetup group area. Nice info. THAT's what we need, someone to teach us how to sell Dr. Paul"
"I am going to use these 3 vids at our next meeting."
Those are just the comments from Youtube. People like it so well, they duplicate the announcement and continue the compliments at DailyPaul

Logic and reason vs. rhetoric
Like yourself Mongolloyd, I also, can get too wound up in arguing from a position of rhetoric rather than reason. Ron Paul offers us all a lesson on how to foil shouters with quiet reason and logic. This involves more than just stating your conclusions, but instead starting with the facts that lead to your conclusion.
A simple example:
"It's gonna be a nice day!" (Conclusion)
Instead try:
"Clear sky!" (observable fact) "No clouds on the horizon!" (observable fact) "Gonna be a nice day! (conclusion)
This takes practice!
Try it. In anything you say today (or tomorrow! ) that would involve you stating a conclusion, start with two clear, observable facts, BEFORE offering your conclusion. (No, not just the campaign, Anything!)
The second trick is to ask how others (your rhetoric spouting opponents) how they arrived at their conclusions!
(It may confound them and get them to start thinking!)
