That was an awesome witty comment Dr. Paul threw in there. "They are still captured". Loved it! Everyone knows the deal and knows once you are a supporter of the truth and Liberty there's no going back.

That was absolutely wonderful! I have never seen him more confident and happy. He was definitely having fun with Stephen. Stephen usually makes his guests feel uncomfortable with all of his questioning but he just fueled Ron with more energy and fun. It was so great to see him give Stephen a good laugh.

Very good interview!! I liked the question about the campaign resulting in any good results. RP stated that several congressman have secretly asked for his support. You know, maybe some of these guys can see the future and know the R party is dying.

Ron Paul has just announced his run for President in 2009!

He also said he already has some delegates for it!

Colbert asked him if, since he was not going to win this year's run for President, he would be running in 2009?

Ron Paul said he'd probably have a better chance of winning.

Later Colbert asked if he had delegates at the RNC. Ron Paul said yes. Colbert asked if he'd released them Ron Paul said, "No, they are still captured."

He's going to keep them captured for the 2009 race.

Colbert commented he hoped that Ron Paul had poked some holes in their box for air.
