Calling RP supporters for feedback at Local MN Paper

0 votes

I was able to enjoy the Rally for the Republic from the 6th row. It was amazing! I actually invited a college friend who happens to be the owner/editor of a local Minnesota paper who covered both the Rally and the Republican National Convention. He sat right next to me.

This was his first opinion article during the lead up to both events and he still has yet to write his final Opinion on the two events. Unfortunately, in the lead-up article, I was disappointed that he equated RP with a lunatic fringe movement.

I'm thinking he could use some comments from RP supporters ... so he could better understand the role and the power we have.

Can you guys help me out?

This is how you win the media

Good job. There is nothing like getting the media to join us on a friendly basis. I can't wait to see how the sequel comes out once he has met a few more of us.

Thanks Liberty

It sure would be great if we could see some of that same old fire as we once saw in the primaries in our efforts to help "wake up" the local papers and media.

We were way up in the "nose bleed" section

HYDROMAN
at the C4L . Every morning the hotel we were staying at offered local newspapers for free. I never saw anything in any of the papers about the C4L meetings. We left to head home tuesday night after Dr. Pauls speech and I bought a copy of USA Today the morning of the 3rd. On page 11A the "USAT fishrap" mentioned that "hundreds" of Ron Paul supporters met at the Target Center for a rally.

Do not give out personal information to people just to respond

to garbage. Your friend is an asshat! There you have my help!

Excuse Me? This is how you win support?

I am on the edge of my seat to read the follow-up piece. I saw the family of 10, with all the family in Ron Paul shirts. How can anyone stay convinced of the "fringe" label in the face of that?

Of course responses like yours tend to alienate people and give truth to the idea that we're anti-social outcasts and misfits.

Just Wondering

Isn't it our "job" to educate and get involved? Sure, I don't advocate providing personal information (make something up - if you have to) but let us all do our best to shape our world .. .at a local level.

I would love your help ... please give him some good POSITIVE comments about what we are all about.
