Shame on Jon Stewart

Though I recognize Stewart and the Daily Show staff are very liberal/statist, I've always appreciated how they lampoon the political and media establishments.
But on yesterday's show, Jon had Huckabee on and started by saying "you were the last candidate to stay in against John McCain".
So Ron Paul's been flushed down the memory hole on the Daily Show too? Ughh....

when they drive busses into her neighborhood and drag every family member out of their houses and drive them away in church busses of a denomination of a diffrent faith and divide up the children from their parents. Force them to eat food they are not use to and force innoculate them without the parents consent. Label them all bad families and force them into theropy. And then steel the whole neighborhoods property by making them pay for the raid and the cost of holding all of them all over the state all becuase one of the neighborhood children who live there might be pregnant and be underage and it might just be the baby of an over aged person maybe even someone much older. Then maybe she will be worthy of even looking at. until then nah I'll pass. I didn't see her on TV speaking out for any other mothers rights. blaaahhh "country first" blah blah blah Where was she!!!!!!!! They live in this country!!!!!!!!!! nah I'll pass.
wow I think you need to study a little more
Judeism is a belief not a country. They spoke the hebrew language and lived in the land of Israel and Judea. The reason for two names is because they had division. The word Jew is actually a slang word made up a long time ago but it stuck so they are called Jewish. These people where sent out into the world by God because they disobeyed God. There is also the Khazar Jew who is actually not born from a Jewish mother they are actually a nation or tribe (of turks who converted to judeism). They were part of a confedration of nations and lived in southern russia and became very powerful until the confederation began to have infighting and they started to kill each other some of them fled into china where they where thought to have been slaughtered by china. some fled into europe where they were assimilated. They where developed a complicated form of banking for that time period and pretty much controlled all the main trade routes between china and europe. They also always kept a large standing army that they would hire out to the highest bidder (mercinaries). Also it is important to add through all there history where always at war with the people of the area of Iran they hated each other. These so called Jews also lived in Germany during the time of WW2 and many of the pictures of Jews holding guns are actually this group of so called Jews. The Jews from the bible have always had to trade with each other they have always had to live in someone elses country and always had to find a way to keep their customs without offending the people of the nation in which they live. They are non violent and are actually hard working people. To use the word Jew and add these two very diffrent types of people into the same breath is ignorance. True Jews do not believe that God has called them back to their homeland yet and they do not occupy anyones land not even the land that was given them by God. I'm sure there are some real Jews that have been just as tricked into believing it is time to go back to the holy land as have been tricked into not knowing the diffrence between them. These Jews live all over the world not in one country. They have had to learn how to live with everyone. I'm not even sure if zionist is the right word to describe the other group. However their is a large zionist movement that includes both these Jews and Christians. Zion is an interesting word to study in the bible most people only see it as talking about a place but their is more to it than that if you pull every scripture out of the bible that has the word zion in it you realize it has a deeper meaning. It is kind of like if you had a place called capitalism it would have two meanings to it it would be an ideology and it would be a place. the same seems to be true about mount zion. David attacked and took the a fortress on the top of mount zion it is where they built the temple. The bible said he very much disliked zion and he sent men into the fortress by way of what to me seems to have been the sewer to take the fortress. the interesting thing about that story is he said whoever went in by that way would become the capitan of his armies. The man who went first did become the capitan of his armies and he was a visious warior and had much blood on his hands over his lifetime. when david died one of the last comands he gave solomon his son who would become king was to kill him for he had much blood on his hands. When they went to kill him he was in the temple and holding onto the four horns of the alter he figured they would not kill him in the temple for it was sacred. He told them to kill him right there and that is just what they did he died right in the very spot where he gained his power from david for infultrating that fortress (zion). Remember whatever the ideology of zion was. He had learned it by going in and spying out the fortress is this why God told David he must die so the knowledge would die with him. I think it is interesting when you plug the word flesh into the word zion. In other words they were the lovers of flesh (self). Maybe they controlled the money or were in some way wrapped up in usury. Whatever it was David hated it and so did God. it helps to study a little before you just latch onto labels and jump on the bandwagon of hate with everyone else. Knowledge is not everything but a littel mixed with some patience and common sense goes a long way.

Although I don't share your
Although I don't share your shock at the Stewart/Huckabee exchange, John Stewart HAS been pissing me off this past year. His facade of wimpy, helpless intellectual seems to becoming his actual persona. He shies way too hard against the brutal actuality of historical events in progress.
He should borrow some nut girth from Steven Colbert. :D
he is just,
an entertainer, nothing more.
I had hopes of Stewart having moral fortitude, but now I realize his cowardice.

Really? This is what you
Really? This is what you think. This is so narrow-minded and unintelligent. Why don't you try to look at this without a trigger finger to point out every little tiny possible moment that is insulting to you. Why don't you consider that Stewart was simply saying that huck was the last republican as in the last of the group that is all the same, that he was the last to leave that had a viable chance, which Paul never did. Maybe it was simply innocent in fact. But no, no actions that are insulting to anyone here is innocent. There's always some devious motive against the Ron Paul Movement. Wow!! It's actually a big natioanl conspiracy against him. Oh, and the boogyman is a real thing to do. Don't look now but he's in your closet.
jews
jews are not all the same, each one is different really, they all come from different countries just like Christians. 'Stewart' is a Scottish name not a jewish name by the way, but I did hear he is jewish.
Anywase, I like Colbert better!

Stewart's REAL name is
Stewart's REAL name is Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz. So, I think that solve sthe origin or his hebrew-ness! lol
Jew in the media says it all
Although he may not be a malicious zionist he still is their tool.
Keith Olberman, Chris
Keith Olberman, Chris Mathews, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly... All of those nutcases are NOT Jews.
I'm Jewish and a huge Ron Paul supporter. Let's please stop this "Jew" this "Jew" that talk. It doesn't make any sense and serves absolutely no purpose. Plus, it goes against our beautiful freedom philosophy.
There are bad Jews, bad Christians, bad Muslims and bad Atheists. BUT those bad people are the minority, because I believe that most people are good.
All of us on Daily Paul should realize that all human beings are the same and not to label and put a certain race or religion into groups.
Ok... I'm done writing about this.

I Agree...
You can't judge a book by it's cover. Sometimes you can start judging by the dedication....and often by the first couple of chapters.
Besides, it's the first and middle names you have to watch out for, hey Sean ;)
That's the best clue as to whether they are one of those Blarney Zionists like O'Reilly or Hannity.
I don't want to be construed as racist,
but Jews stick together. Right or wrong. I know many Jewish people that will only buy products or services from other Jewish people.
Is this wrong? I don't know.
But maybe Jon Stewart adheres to this, or maybe he was just being insanely nice to his guest.

You're not seen as one by me.
and Sean57 seems to be a very honorable and respectable fellow.
That being said, my father in-law's father used to be a doctor and told stories of how the Jewish students in medical school would stick together and get answers to the tests and share them only amongst themselves.
Likewise, my father-in-law, having grown up in a well populated Jewish neighborhood (and myself in later years) saw that most derogatory stereotypes also fit like not tipping, complaining over nothing (one instance over those high school fund raisers that wash your car, he refunded the driver because he couldn't stand to see the abuse the kid was getting for a $1 car wash)
Most of that can be whittled down to bad character which happens across generalities yet the stereotypes always seem to stick to the labels they went with.
SirFelix you are now
SirFelix you are now officially construed as a racist!

Wrong, I and my entire family are Jewish and we couldn't care less where I buy any product or service as long as I know it's a good product or a good service.
Please please please, let's stop with these incredibly weird generalizations. They're totally nonsensical.

I mistakenly made a generalization,
when I said that Jews stick together,
what I should have said is that I know a Lot of Jews that will only buy products or services from other Jewish people. That is my experience, and nobody is gonna tell me that I don't know what I know.
Having said that, It is not necessarily a bad thing. Look at the website which aims to have us buy things only from people who support Ron Paul.
As I said before, Is that a bad thing? I don't know.
But what really pisses me off, is that if anybody criticizes the Israeli foreign policy, they are labelled as anti-semetic.

I think you're seeing what you want to see.
Cut the anti-Jewish crap. The racist and anti-Jewish language suddenly popping up here is indefensible, thick-headed and shows a real lack of class and taste.

I agree that it's stupid to
I agree that it's stupid to label someone anti-semetic if someone criticizes Israel's foreign policy. That's a cheap shot and most smart Jews understand that.
By the way, a lot of Jews criticize Israel's foreign policy. I, for example, can't stand the Israeli government just like I can't stand the American government.
Many Jewish people think like me. We're all on the same sinking ship.

We sure are on the same
We sure are on the same page. I am also Jewish and fit no one's generalizations. However, when any "ethnic group" first came to America, they stuck together a bit..the Puritans, the Italians, the Jews, the Chinese, etc., etc. I can't stand our current policy of aid to Israel and Arab Nations, nor have I yet found a current government that I think is totally free from evil.
I too hate labels and love your posts.
