Supporters of the so-called front-runners have nothing to prove, don't need to seek MSM support, or give money. They may be so apathetic, they won't vote if there's something better on TV, counting on their candidate's status to carry the day. That's who the "scientific" polls survey.

Ron Paul supporters are not taking their candidate for granted, and they feel very passionately about the man and the message. Obviously, this skews the results of the "unscientific" polls.

The truth of his support is somewhere in-between the two measures.

Considering that much of MSM "journalism" has been very poor and in some cases, unprofessionally partisan, this is truly a case of the Internet making a difference.

On the whole, I'm glad he hasn't peaked too soon, and I'm very happy with the trajectory. America loves an underdog.

Ron Paul wins 17 straw polls in numerous states, wins all of the televised GOP debates (even ones hosted by Faux News), raises 5.1 million dollars in the 3rd quarter, raises 4.2 million dollars on November 5th, and yet the mainstream media still refers to him as nothing more than a "possible spoiler" (that is what they said during the CNN Roundtable, this evening) and other nonsense, rather than a top-tier candidate, due to his low numbers in the outdated and biased phone polls. 4 out of 5 adults use the Internet, so why are they (the establishment) still using phone polls to gauge a candidate's viability? I can't wait for the moment when all of these clowns, like Stephanopoulos ("That's not going to happen" after RP says his goal is to become President), are forced to eat !@$% when Dr. Paul wins the GOP nomination and eventually the presidency.

I really, really am liking Jack Cafferty! He just strikes me as cut from the "old stock" of newsmen...remember them? Those were the guys who REPORTED the news!

Here was my response to Mr. Cafferty:

I'm afraid Doctor Paul's candidacy has been mostly ignored by the major media so far. How almost 40,000 people can contribute over $4,200,000 in a 24 hour period and not have Dr. Paul considered a top tier candidate amazes me. He has also been winning after debate polls along with numerous straw polls around the country for months. Every day I see and read main stream editorials that either ignore Dr Paul, try to discount his candidacy, or flat out say he has no chance of winning.

I've been a member of the Republican party for over 40 years. The last candidate I actually campaigned for was Barry Goldwater in 1964. I handed out campaign literature on Halloween night, 43 years ago. Since that time I have not found a candidate that I could whole heartedly support until coming across Dr. Paul. He has the integrity, intellect, honesty, and common sense to be our next president.

PLEASE give Dr. Paul a fighting chance against the other candidates by allowing him more time to expose his views and positions to more Americans.

That coverage a few minutes ago was the best I've ever seen and trust me, I've seen them all, lol. I can't find the words to describe how happy I am. If there's one thing I've noticed, its that Ron Paul can only be stopped by people not hearing or understanding him. True fair and balanced coverage will GAURANTEE his victory. I have never been more confident of our chances. The tide is turning. We are winning. The irate, tireless minority, keen on setting the brushfires of freedom is becoming real again. Victory in 08!!!

I've been watching CNN and MSNBC all day and cant wait for this. cafferty seemed positive and wolf seemed semi-interested in the teaser. i also wrote in to cafferty file, and i suggest you all do the same ! :D
