What about this lawsuit filed by Democrat Phillip Berg, who was the Pennsylvania Deputy AG, that claims Obama does NOT meet the constitutional birth requirement to be POTUS? It seems to be going viral! » |

I think it will boil down to one thing ...
If the Supreme Court decides to hear it ....
There will be a new precedent with respect to burden ...
It will be a question of ...
Who has the burden to prove eligibility ...
Three options ...
1. Plaintif
2. Party
3. Candidate
If they decide 1, then the case will have no merit, unless Mr. Berg has not shown all his cards.
If 2 or 3, then Obama has to produce evidence that he is eligible.
It will be precedent setting if the case is taken.
I assume you do realize that the Supreme Court can choose not to hear the case at all.

Interesting speculation at the bottom of the page about his college records.
When Obama later returned to Hawaii, within the United States, there should have been a government document affirming his citizenship, but that also cannot be found. If that was not processed properly, Berg said, Obama would be in a situation even worse than not being a natural-born citizen.
"If he didn't go through immigration, he now is illegal and has been an illegal alien. He couldn't even hold the position of senator for Illinois," Berg said.
Further, Berg said he suspected Obama's college records may indicate he received aid as a foreigner, and that's why those records have been withheld by the campaign.
"I really think it's because it probably indicates he's from Kenya, or Indonesia, or received foreign aid," Berg said.
"I feel very confident saying these things," Berg told Savage.

There are some that say this issue is being blown out of proportion. But it is an important (Constitutional) issue, that COULD be easily solved with a copy of his REAL birth certificate. That he hasn't come forward with one is very fishy and ups the hype.
