What is begun in anger, ends in shame.
That's pretty blunt
It is sad to think it could be true. Nevada had some of the hardest working people fighting all the way. I just don't know how they could have sold out without some very good reason. It just doesn't make sense.

The lip of truth shall be established forever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment...Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are His delight. Prov 12:19,22
Let me quote from another thread here at DP ...
Some like to lead.
Some like to follow.
Some have comfort in their existing lives.
Some do not.
We are all equals, we simply choose the roles that we are best at or feel most comfortable with.
Some may feel that their choices are limited by their circumstances. Circumstances of choice and circumstances of birth. Circumstances that are reinforced by policy and circumstances that are dictated by policy.
Some choose the intellectual battle.
Some choose the physical battle.
Some choose both.
The battle will be to turn non-humans into humans. We are all enfranchised, human or not, so we must make humans out of the ones that have chosen not to exist. Once we have convinced them to become human, we then must convince them to choose freedom. So this task is two fold and must be done in the order described.
I have filled all these roles in my somewhat modest life. Modest in age and means. Most of us, in our lives, have done the same.
We all have our roles.
If you exist, you have entered the battle. You know what to do. Do not alienate those that choose roles that are different, or less meaning, or less influential.
We all have our roles.

I'll quote another poster in another thread on this subject:
"Hang 'em high."
So much for the "we'll
So much for the "we'll infiltrate the GOP and take it over from within" fantasy.

I'm sorry I was a guest at
I'm sorry I was a guest at the real convention in NV in June. If any RP supporter had been to that convention you would understand why I cannot even fathom doing what they did. Mike Weber just threw his whole political career in the trash for the statement of justice. A non-RP supporter and he did everything he could to get them to the RNC.The convention he put together with Terhune was so fair and wonderful, every state delegate that was treated unfairly would have found it to be like water in the desert. Bunce and Dyer just bought their political careers as neo con allies. Great, now they will never get my vote, money, or volunteerism. The irony is the RNC will screw them in the furture too. They will definitely be expendable.
In addition to "ostracism, rancor, and ridicule"
by the party faithful, they apparently faced great pressure from RP2008 affiliates. What other outcome could really be expected?

has always been much more skilled with a keyboard than he is an orater.
I loved his synopsis of the convention speeches. Lew really cuts through the BS and gets to the meat of an issue.
