WE HAVE TO REACH 10-14 YEAR OLDS

and bug them to death with stuff that is, unfortunately, way over their little heads. Can anyone think of a place we could do that?

fresh bump for cyndezu

....heres one I posted

Ok it took me a minute to figure out your angle

Now I may be wrong, but I don't think very many RP posts make Digg's front page, though they do hit the top of the political page. Any 10-14 year old who is already on that page should be given a lifetime paid membership in the CFL, IMHO. (Ok that's a little over the top, but you get my drift, right?)

I gave Richard Maybury's "Whatever Happened To Penny Candy?" to a 12 nephew and he loved it! He also watched "Money as Debt" and couldn't wait to get to school to ask his teachers about the monetary policy.

I heard that Ron Paul

will be writing a home school curriculum. Hopefully that will be in economics and some history. Even people who have their kids in the state schools can buy this material for their families.

I was 10 when my mom started teaching me about politics and related subjects. When kids learn things it gets right down into their bones, and makes them the kind of person you want them to be. This is why I never had to have a Ron Paul epiphany-my knowledge was there all along.

exactly right! as for me and

exactly right!

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

Stay away from the kids.

Let them be children. The best thing you can do for them is to teach them critical thinking skills. Then they can read about all sides of an issue and come up with their own opinion.

I get frustrated enough with all the marketing out there directed at kids. Even the school is acting like there are only two choices for President. I think the job of a parent is to point out when someone is trying to sell them something or when someone is not presenting all sides of an issue.

Then let's get off the digg

......

14 and up

they will be old enough to vote in 4 years and they should know what they stand for and vote for that only. i'm not saying that they should be forced to learn about ron paul issues only . only that they will soon become adults and they should be searching in every avenue for the truth, not just television.

then stop "digging"

by the time they can vote, they'll be sick and tired of Ron Paul

I doubt that! how can you

I doubt that! how can you get tired of Ron Paul?!

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

I looked into it

The kids really see the "senator Ron Paul" stuff as annoying. When you were their age, did you really care what the politicians were doing? I just don't want us to be spending energy doing something useless.

When did Ron become a Senator?

I go out and garden and this happens?

Don't touch the bang-bang

Don't touch the bang-bang fruit.

I meant this as a "dig" on digg

I don't think adults actually look at it very much but we're always encouraging each other to "digg" stuff. According to my research, all we are really doing with all this "digg(g?)ing is annoying teenagers.
I may just still be in a bad mood from the RNC hijacking.

folks... this is the best

folks... this is the best way to reach your kids... Richard Maybury is a libertarian.. he is the writer of the EWR.. early warning report.. he has written a series of books about libertarianism, economics etc.. these books are easy to read and understand! they are not expensive..
please go to www.earlywarningreport.com and check them out!

Richard Maybury and Ron Paul are great friends! when Ron Paul went back into congress in the early 90's he gave up his monthly newsletter.. he sent his whole readership to Maybury.. thats how I found out about him.. I have subscribed to him ever since.. the guy called 911 6 years before it happened! this is a must read....

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

Excellent stuff!

I used his books in home schooling. It was very understandable and made total sense. Now, if it were just required reading...

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5,6

The lip of truth shall be established forever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment...Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are His delight. Prov 12:19,22

Thats called indoctrination.

Thats called indoctrination.

nothing wrong with

nothing wrong with indoctrination as long as it is truth!

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

I will have disagree with you

The only person that should indoctrinate a child is its parents. Everyone should stay out of My home. That includes the government the schools democrates republicans and that includes the Ron Paul revolution. My children are just that mine I will indoctrinate them the way "I (and their mother)" see fit. End of story.

I agree with this poster,

I agree with this poster, what we should be teaching our kids is that the Consitution is NOT a 'living' document- it's pretty much that simple. As far as indoctrinating my kids- you can't have 'em- I don't care how noble the cause.

Hitler thought his

Hitler thought his indoctrination was right.

Anyway...I dont even think parents should indoctrinate their kids..government shouldnt stop them, but I encourage parents to not do it. You came upon your beliefs about Ron Paul by yourself, why not let your kids think for themselves. Tell them how to think, not what to think.

I wasn't asking I was telling

Do not try to indoctrinate other peoples young children..............
It doesn't matter what word you use. Anything that happens in my family is our business and we will deal with our own family matters thank you. In my family we can have our fights all we want but if a stranger attacks one of us they will all turn on the stranger. Stay away from my family it is a bee's nest you will get hurt. You are getting into an area that will get you hated by all if your not carful. Parents by instinct are protective when it comes to children. Teach your children and send them out to their peers but do not go in yourself. Its a no-no I assure you you will be messing up. There will be blowback like you have never seen before. Educate parents on the inoctrination of their children in public schools wake them up to it most parents do not like the idea of indoctrination of their children.

because truth is truth and

because truth is truth and wrong is wrong! where would you rather be indroctrinated? as for you defart.... you have been indoctrinated into liberalism.. how you found your way to Ron Paul is beyond me.. most EVERYTHING you say goes against what Ron Paul teaches! now as for support for indroctination.. the bible says that if you bring a child up in his ways as an adult he will not part from it! either indoctrinate at home or let the public school system do it! who would you rather have indoctrinate your kids?

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

I got it

we'll go to digg.com they love that place. Next we'll try to reach adults!
