Letter from Dr. Paul, September 8, 2008
Dear friends,
What a thrilling week we've just had - three days of wonderful events, culminating in the great Rally for the Republic on September 2, which C-SPAN2 covered in its entirety. Americans got to hear more truth in our one day in Minneapolis than in decades' worth of standard political conventions.
I hope you were as impressed with the speakers and the performances as I was. The day reaffirmed for me that the movement on behalf of our philosophy is blessed with brains, talent, and verve.
If you missed it, we'll be making the whole thing available soon. In the meantime, you can watch whatever speakers you'd like to see right here.
Now it's time to turn to the hard work of the Campaign for Liberty. We have our work cut out for us. Our economic woes are being foolishly blamed on the free market. The federal government is taking over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, as those of us with any sense feared it would. We face the looming prospect of still more wars: with Iran, Russia, and now Pakistan.
We need to inject some sanity into these debates.
Right now, though, I wish simply to thank you for all your sacrifices and hard work. Just when I think I cannot be any more amazed by your commitment to our ideas, you go and surprise me again. I deeply appreciate your devotion to our cause.
Remember one of the most important things our presidential campaign proved: there are millions of us out there. If 1.2 million Americans voted for our ideas in a Republican primary, think of how many more there must be.
We are not alone. We know that now. And when it comes to energy, creativity, and enthusiasm, our side wins hands down. I know these will be our secret weapons as we keep up the fight in these dark times to restore our republic, and to see peace and prosperity transformed from a campaign slogan into a way of life.
Please, recruit one more person to the Campaign for Liberty today.

Sorry. I have to see the C4L do something different before I will support them any longer. As long as Dr. Paul continues to go to the same old people for advice, he will get the same results. There IS a tremendous amount of talent and energy in this movement, but it will never be utilized because Dr. Paul keeps showing how loyal he is to people who are NOT loyal to him or the cause of Liberty.
Just for the record, the entire ROn Pual delegation was treated like CRAP. We were not given ONE WORD of assistance until about 2 weeks before the RNC. Then we organized ourselves and THEN Dr. Paul assigned us "leaders" - Lew and Drew. Curly and Moe. Frick and Frack. Brutus and Judas. They did not do ANYTHING to further the cause of liberty, they just helped John McCain get his "unity" commercial.
Lew Moore stabbed ME in the back, personally, when I was fighting to represent the voters who sent me to the RNC as a Ron Paul delegate. I will NEVER stick up for him again, and Dr. Paul's insistence on standing beside people like him will force me to distance myself from him, too, I guess. I fight for LIBERTY, not to cut deals with neocons. And he could not even be bothered to call and offer one word of explanation. I am DISGUSTED with C4L, sorry.
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

I am sorry, too, Paul4. I know it must have been horrible, as it has been explained well enough, I feel, for us to all have been a part of it. I do not know what to tell you, other than the C4L is probably the best of many "organizations" for liberty. Even Dr. Paul holds some ideas I disagree with (the fact that he will not support candidates who run for an incumbent Republican's seat, is one of them) but I totally support the core of what he is trying to do. HE would not tell any delegated to "DO" something they were not comfortable with, I am sure. Please do not sink into apathy, or put your efforts into something that will make it so you do not post here in the future. I would miss you.
CSPAN-2 was a big help

Lie to pollsters. Tell them you're supporting Barr. Get him into the debates. Even if you hate HIM, you should see that more turbulence and more embarrassing questions on Mainline Media will good for us all.

If anything was a "hint" it was his remark about injecting some "sanity" in the debates. Which would following along with the other thread about a 3rd party debate
The HINT is clear
"We need to inject some sanity into these debates" means to me that Ron is not going to run but that the Campaign for Liberty intends to sponsor debates. Oh well.
You 9/11 guys (not directed at you, Ginny) are idiots. False flag operations happen all the time and the psyops for 9/11 were successful. Get over it, shut up and do some real work to elect someone who will restore the Constitution.
