It's amazing!! "Pray Away the Gay!" How typical! How truly AMERICAN! The typical American bathos at it's most ridiculous! Of all the things to "pray away" and they pick homosexuality? That is separation of church and state if I ever saw it! I wonder if you can "pray away" heterosexuality too? They make Christianity and spiritutuality seem like wizardry. Hogwarts graduates just need the right incantation to Bibbity-Bobbity-Boo away the bad stuff! And, of all the things we could "pray away" that take priority over THAT! Maybe we should "pray away" rock'n'roll music and marijuana and curse words and gambling and every other moral controversy worldwide! No sense in praying FOR PEACE! That sounds like something CHRIST WOULD DO!
I realize this is somewhat off-focus of the Revolution. But I think humor helps the cause on occasion! It's always the "conservative-Christian base" that tries to save the silverware on the Titanic, as it sinks!

The Sarah Palin Runner's World interview is getting attention especially since the news broke just after it ran that Palin Quits, as governor of Alaska, same as the Palin Vanity Fair spread. Some claim it's so she can concentrate on a Palin 2012 run for President. Her comments in the articles get a bit confusing – although many people have come close to throwing unsecured loans into distilling anything Palin has said into something that resembles a statement that makes sense. Actually, you could pray away all these things but not via your typical hypocritical Christian church. Buddhist monks do this. Any religion (cult) that requires a person's utmost attention, focus, time, loyalty, and faith would allow you to pretty much give up anything--some people might consider it brainwashing and others might consider it a gift.
BTW, people do pray away heterosexual behavior--as a matter of fact people pray away all forms of sexual behavior.

Sarah's affair
This has been proven false. It's my understanding that before the request that the records be sealed (which I believe has been denied), various people went thru the file and did not find Palin's name mentioned anywhere. This guy and his young son were being harassed by the press - phone calls, being following to their remote cabin, etc. - information that the press found in the divorce file. He's trying to protect his family, not Palin.
