Bob Barr threatens to slap Washington Times interviewer

after being insulted in Latin.

I didn't realize he had a violent streak. I may have to drop my support for him because of this.

the interviewer was sober. He was ridiculous and was making a fool of himself. Bob Barr was quick with the comebacks. Like Barr said at the end of the tape...."Are you really going to air this!"

When I was in my hotel room one night last week, after the rally festivities, HBO was showing that god-awful movie "Borat". I just happened to be flipping through the paltry cable TV menu and at the moment I flipped to HBO, Borat was feeding Bob Barr his wife's famous homemade cheese. LOL.

That will always be my favorite memory of Bob Barr.

And a few days ago someone posted just that clip within some thread and I saw it again and fell of my chair...promptly went to buy some cheese.

Ha ha..it was funny.. I am starting to like Barr a little more after his great speech in MN at the picnic. I still do not want to vote for him unless I have to, because I do not trust him as much as Baldwin (not to mention Ron) but I enjoyed this interview..it was obvious the two were friends, the questions rather irrelevant, but the personalities were funny. Thanks.

I get the joke, and I watched it all the way through to see if he really did have a violent streak. I'm just now looking into Bob Barr. His platform seems to be very similar to Dr. Paul's. But he must have had a revelation because his voting record is nowhere near as good as Dr. Paul's. I mean didn't he vote for the Patriot Act and to invade Iraq? Is this suspicious to anyone, or did he truly have a change of heart?

Maybe Dr. Paul's opinion on this

Army of Liberty soldiers always had different generals.
He is no more of a joke than Perot was or wrestler turned Governor Jesse Ventura.
It is not about the man but an idea whose time has come.
In a three way race when Obama and McCain will destroy each other the winner just might be Barr.
