RFID chips imbedded in your skin or on a ID card
can be scanned, but I don't think they can be read at a distance without an antennae in the device.
What can be read from a Predator drone armed with Hellfire missiles (but not, I don't think, from space) are:
1) The GPS system in your car.
2) The GPS system in your cellphone.
3) An RFID chip in the sole of your shoe.
So, if you are trying to avoid a MASSOD-style assassination:
Drive a 15-year-old car, remove the batteries from your cellphone until you are ready to make a call and stock up on shoes now before they all have RFID chips in the soles.
Not to sound paranoid or anything, but I have a half a dozen new shoes stacked up in the back of my closet. Styles (for guys) don't change and I will use them all eventually as I wear them out one by one.

actually all the need is sencors placed around them
(ie. street camras hidden camra's or even hd tv digital cable box for your home /that is a two way system) it picks up the small signal and is amplified so yes they can be read by sattilite. They had plans to put these sencors all along the nafta super highway so they could track all shipments at all time. The antena does not have to be on the chip only within range of a sencor that will be its antina. And yes they do have a smal antena on them it is a copper wire that wraps around the device so it has a range to get to another censor.

"Maroon" is an old joke term
that Bugs Bunny used to say in some of those old cartoons, back in "the day". When he wanted to call somebody a "moron" in the cartoon, he said "maroon" instead.
