Some Ideas and Suggestions on the "9/11 Wars"

In reading this forum over the past few days it is becoming clear that we have a major issue in which Liberty supporters disagree. Not only is there disagreement over the "truth" about 9/11, but also a disagreement about whether this discussion should even appear on this site. For some reason it seems that almost ANY other issue can be brought up and people do not feel the need to get into a cat fight over it. But we haven't found a way to get along when it comes to 9/11.

So I am offering this post in the hopes that we can finally come to some arrangement that allows this site to continue offering the IMMENSE amount of wonderful information it offers, and keep from having a full day of "bickering" and "name calling" going on that leads to NO PRODUCTIVE PURPOSE.

If we break it down into the major issues it would seem to involve the following. (For simplicity sake I will classify the rift as between "Truthers" and "Others", not out of any disrespect to either side, but simply for convenience in discussion.)

OK ... FIRST of all "Truthers" like to share information about what they feel is a critically important issue. Not only information on the event itself, but also information about the disemination of "Truth" in the world. "Others" are not interested in this information and reject it's credibility. My suggestion here is that only those INTERESTED in the information should respond to these posts. Those that are NOT interested in "9/11 Truth" should simply NOT KEEP POSTING AND BUMPING a forum topic that they have no interest in. What happens is that those NOT interested continue to respond to these posts, and then get angry that the post has not fallen off the page. Well, clearly, if you want it to drop off the page you have to STOP RESPONDING!

Secondly, the "Others" seem to get upset when "Truthers" don't produce "PROOF" of their theories, but when, in an effort to provide links, etc. the "Truthers" continue the thread, the "Others" get upset that the thread is still here. Here, I would suggest two things. FIRST of all there are many, many websites devoted to this issue to which anyone TRULY INTERESTED may go. A polite inquiry for some of these websites would, I am sure get an abundant response. If someone REALLY wants "proof" they are free to go through the (literally) DAYS and DAYS of information available on this topic. This is NOT just a "soundbite" issue and there is quite frankly just too much to look at to possibly quantify in a post. SECONDLY, "Truthers" MUST start to realize that they CANNOT FORCE THIS on anyone. No matter how loudly you scream, and wave your arms, and jump up and down in front of people they are NOT going to turn into believers through FORCE and SCREAMING LOUDER. As a matter of fact, I (and I am a "Truther") happen to find the "confrontational megaphone" approach very annoying. This issue is so frightening and life-changing that many of us prefer to investigate in the QUIET of our environment and take it in slowly. SO it is unfair for an "Other" to "demand proof" on this site, when it is QUITE easy to find out information on their own. This information is VOLUMINOUS and could not possibly be included in a post. AND, the "Truthers" have to back off a bit from trying to shove this down people's throats. Let's just SHARE INFO when we have it and STOP RESPONDING to "nasty" comments with MORE "nasty" comments. If you REALLY want this info to become more accepted..... name calling and screaming are not going to be productive.

The third most common objection of the "Others" is that somehow it is because of the 911Truth movement that Ron Paul did not get nominated or elected. To this I would say that there are SO MANY reasons that Ron Paul.... in 2008.... could NEVER have been elected that they are too numerous to mention. The level of corruption, evil and manipulation that this Country is experiencing, as demonstrated in the MSM and at the State and National Conventions is so great that it was a virtual impossibility that he was going to win. HE is the one who AWAKENED so many to this evil and that makes what happened in this last year and a half a MIRACLE in itself. But you do not overcome 100 years of growing corruption in one election cycle. So, NO it wasn't 9/11 Truth, and it wasn't the campaign staff, and it wasn't the Blimp staff, and it wasn't JUST the creeps at the Conventions or any one thing. Ron Paul could have had a campaign staff right out of Hollywood or Washington DC itself, and the EVIL POWERS that RUN this country were going to find a way to sabotage his campaign. It was the EFFORT of the Campaign that was NECESSARY and FRUITFUL and actually started a TURNING in the social mood. So we WON! Discussing 911 on this forum was NOT the thing that prevented Dr. Paul from winning the Presidency, and certainly now that he is NOT running for President, sharing information on this topic, or Chemtrails, or the NAU, or the NWO, or the Patriot Act, etc. is all fruitful in expanding people's understanding of the true evil we are facing.

Finally, these rants always end up with "Others" pleading with Michael to stop this topic from appearing "here on the Daily Paul". My suggestion here is that if Michael had a problem with 911 information appearing here he would have stopped it LONG AGO. It is HIS site and he runs it as he sees fit. You will notice, for example, that the Campaign for Liberty site, or the OFFICIAL Ron Paul Site (when it was active) did NOT get into this info or any of the OTHER info we often discuss here. And that is THEIR right. But here, I don't think waiting for Michael to "become aware" of some problem on his site and "DO something about it" is realistic. SO... 911 IS going to continue appearing as a forum topic. The ONLY decision we can make is whether or not we are going to learn how to DEAL with that.

If you don't like a topic DONT KEEP BUMPING IT. And if someone does not want information DONT CALL THEM NAMES or continue SCREAMING at them. The info is out there. It is going to continue to be out there, whether people like it or not. And people will investigate it WHEN and IF they want to. Sharing new info is GREAT and those that are interested want this info. But lets try to respect each other and find ways to DEAL with this.

Hopefully this long post proves helpful and doesn't just degenerate into another hysterical two day rant. I LOVE THIS SITE, and have been SO INCREDIBLY IMPRESSED at the amazing grit and determination and attitude of the Ron Paul and Liberty "team". If this movement is to continue we MUST keep the "Love" in the Revolution, and TRULY be committed to the FREEDOM that each person has to believe and act as they wish.
