Rhino: Disappointed but content with today’s announcement

I must say that I was hoping for more.

I was hoping for a unity candidate.

I was hoping for more media coverage.

I was disappointed in the hype of a somewhat less than “unprecedented” announcement.

Having said that …

Paul has remained true to his tortoise role.

He is in it for the long hall.

I understand what he is doing. He will carefully analyze the voting data in November and then make a decision on how to proceed from there.

He is still unsure of his impact on a national scale, and his skepticism has some merit.

Our actions will influence the path chosen by Dr. Paul at the next fork in the road.

You know what to do …

And since we won’t be voting for Dr. Paul in November, be sure to send him some friends to Washington so he is not lonely.

If in fact there will be a miracle at noon, where Mr. Barr steps down and nominates Dr. Paul for the ticket, this will be a sign. I will immediatly change my role. I will join others on the battle field.

You can give credit

for the hype to just a couple of DPers and for me that loses credibility for them. Not trusting that again.

Why are you disappointed? Think about it.. Ron Paul is bringing unity to his message through three other Political parites and they are signing a pact to follow 4 very important points of the Campaign.. WHO ELSE HAS EVER DONE THAT?

Come ON PEOPLE... The message is what counts, our freedoms are what count. Ron Paul would have been the Icing on the cake, but it's the message that is spreading which is important.

Like I said ...

I realize he is in it for the long hall.

I am content with his tortoise role.

I would have expected you would not be so content.

Maybe I have misjudged you.

lol You need to get off this HOPE bandwagon man

Hope is for Obama and his followers.

You got to start doing because like I said, RP is not going to do anything other than reiterate his position.

We have been working here in NC for the past few months getting good candidates in office, BJ Lawson is going strong and will be a asset to the people if elected. We all need to find people to work for locally and get them to Washington and replace those Senators / Congressmen that are not working for the people but for them selves and the NWO. I think Chuck Baldwin is about the best choice as he is totally in tune with Ron's platform and from his past will not back down or be compromised by money, power or threats.

I was also hoping for a more co-ordinated plan to dismiss Bipartisan candidates in all fifty-one Electoral jurisdictions. At this point it looks as though we should lean toward Mr Baldwin at the top of the ticket. I had previously leaned toward Mr Barr, as I have a long association with Libertarians, but he seems to have mortgages his support this morning. There is still time for him to redeem himself, but for now, if not Paul, Baldwin.

Kudos to Nader and McKinney, and I would further recommend that (at least in Hawaii, Rhode Island, Maine, and DC that Paul fans (or bipartisan adversaries) vote McKinney to bedevil McBama and the forces of evil.

For all our talk of supporting Dr Paul and being strict Constitutionalists, why don’t we read the Constitution and realize that Dr Paul can be elected President without appearing on a single State ballot?

I kind of got a heads up yesterday from Mr. Justin Jeffre ...

Nader's campaign manager here in Cincy, but I was hoping that he was uninformed.

I am glad for the optimism

I am glad for the optimism of this post, but I have to admit I was utterly disappointed... we sorely needed someone to rally the troops... ONE person we could vote for... why disperse us amongst a plethora of candidates?! I love you Ron Paul, but I am disappointed.

well said...

I was going to say the same thing, the 3rd parties need TRUE unification (around a single ticket) or we're nothing but a distraction...

I feel ya man.......

I'm on those lines as well.

"The real terrorist's are in this country. They are not planning to blow us up,......... but rather, take our money, our freedom, and our country."

"be sure to send him some friends to Washington..."

THATS RIGHT! Don't just stop at the office of President. Let's kick ALL the bums out and start fresh. Get rid of all of those that are "bought and sold" and take away the lobbyists power by putting a whole new batch in there.

"Not armies, not nations, have advanced the race;
but here and there, in the course of ages,
an individual has stood up
and cast his shadow over the world."

Thomas Jefferson: “Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever."

Viva La Revolucion!

I am not disappointed in the

I am not disappointed in the LEAST. This was Dr. Paul at his best. Showing, yet again, how much he is for the People, and against the trend of our government. He appeared with strong leaders we are rarely allowed to hear. I think it was absolutely brilliant, and I am PUMPED!!

PS..you KNOW darn well if any of these three possibly get elected that RP would have a substantial cabinet position, right? Huzzah!!

Ha! That would be a GREAT

Ha! That would be a GREAT one! "Mr. Barr steps down and nominates Dr. Paul for the ticket"

But Bob Barr doing that?? I don't think we have a chance that a neo-con is capable of such an action.

couldn't have said it better myself

thank you for this. i needed this.
