Barr out - Restore the daily PAUL

In light of recent events - to those who have and continue to preach the greatness of Barr, please gather your opinions and trolls as you leave.

But seriously this is a sad day, your opinions are your own and I nor any other Liberty loving American would not stamp out your freedoms. This is the DailyPaul, please respect that, I think you should go.

See you there.

montana

Bob Barr's previous votes paint him as a libertarian of convenience, not conviction. For me its either Chuck Baldwin or a write-in for Dr. Paul.
Just the fact that hes on the ballot in montana speaks volumes to me.
I want to move out there before the collapse happens. Id rather be around libertarian-minded, self sufficient people than liberals totally dependent on police and government services when it happens. It will get ugly.

RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT.....HE IS STILL MY CANDIDATE!!!

Bar is a mole. I'm voting for Baldwin.

Baldwin Here Too

I wished I lived in Montana just so I could vote for the best candidate for POTUS.

Yes..

He's a mole digging support out from underneath McCain.

Will Be Passing Out Barr Leaflets This Weekend

Hi Everyone,
Our Ron Paul and Libertarian Party Meetup Groups will be handing out Bob Barr for President leaflets to pedestrians in our shopping district this weekend. Thanks for all you do for liberty!

wha wha what?

Is Chuck Baldwin not on your ballot?

Barr is forcing the 2 Party System

to either follow the law or to act blatantly Machiavellian, in public and in the present, when it comes to the law on debates and ballot access. They are blatantly bending the law to benefit the 2 major parties, and he is providing the objective, current, and relevant evidence, and is doing his best to stand in their way to obstruct the efforts of the party duopoly. It may seem like he is selfish and only doing it for himself, but Chuck Baldwin is not doing this, he is on the sidelines with Nader and McKinney. Maybe if Chuck Baldwin wanted to be president he should be a little more assertive about making the other parties follow the laws. Then again if you had Baldwins weird platform you would also have a tough time asserting yourself to get attention and uniting Americans.

Bob Barr is also the only one offering the libertarian solutions that we need and trying to convince plurality of American people that in their hearts they are Libertarian. Chuck Baldwin is trying to unite people under an absurd juxtaposition of platform pieces: humble foreign policy - anti-gay marriage, Anti-NWO, anti-women in the military, pro-constitution, anti-gambling, pro-drug war, anti-wiretapping, pro-life, anti-patriot act. Half of these beliefs do not coincide with the other half.
only a balanced Libertarian can really unite people. the platform of the CP is not relevant today nor will it be the future of America or any civilization

I think anti NWO is a good thing;)

Vote your conscience, I will

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!

some of them ARE good

but the combination of platform pieces are largely alienating. For example, Ron Paul's pro-life(and immigration) stances alienated some pro-choice libertarians, but most libertarians accepted his positions because they were minor nuances from Libertarianism.

As for Chuck Baldwin, hes is sharply anti on many social positions that the big picture does not coalesce into an acceptable platform that can convince Americans to unite around liberty in 2008 or any future year because the CP platform is flawed and the candidates' beliefs are incredibly unique.

Ya know,

if you like Barr why don't you find something positive to post about him.
I don't care for him, and I don't post long winded arguments why.
Barr fans yelling for Liberty while attacking the other third party candidates does nothing to promote it.

Nicely Stated

Barr Fans -- rise above your small candidate.... practice diplomacy. If you agree that it's the message that is important. Let's articulate the message.

.

I think so, too.
Votethirdparty '08!

lower the BARR

Sheep will follow any master that does not mean the sheep think like the master. Give these people some space. They have to get their S--t together.
says

Both Obama and McCain will be on ballot, this is a mere stunt.

After everything I've read now on Barr, as a result of his actions, I believe there is a legitimate possibility that Barr is a CIA operative. His overall mission is to disrupt and control any dissent, especially within the political system, to protect those already in power within our corrupt government.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

Votethirdparty '08!

He pretends action without substance. On closer inspection you see only whirl and mist. Does he have other, clear intentions?

For sure there would be enough reason for this enormous kind of CIA operation.

Votethirdparty '08!

Third Parties....

Spend months of time - and most of the money they raise in an election year just getting on the ballot in as many states as possible - In West Virginia this year the Libertarian Party was late in turning in the required signatures and kept off the ballot - When Obama was a day late in filing in Texas and McCain later than that, they are put on the ballot regardless of the law on the books.

Bob Barr and the LP have a legitamate case here, and it does raise the ballot access issue among people who have never heard the double standard the "major" parties have created in thier favor. If he wins it wont just be a victory for him, but for all third parties.

Barr is a footnote

i have NO problem ignoring him. Its his so-called supporters that I cant seem to shake. Like that impulse to rubberneck a really bad car accident.

Live Free or Diebold

The c4l should show no prejudice between the 3rd party candidate

Of course all of us would vote for Paul if he were still actively running. We should still morally support Barrs legal efforts in texas to get obama and MCain off the Texas ballot for not following the law.

Why couldn't Ron have simply

Why couldn't Ron have simply endorsed the Libertarian candidate and leave off the two socialists?

Because Baldwin, on the Constitution Party ticket..

Is a friend of RP, campaigned for him early on, and supports many things RP does. Besides that, if RP had done so, the Republicrats in the House may have tried to keep him off the banking committee. I think it was brave just to say "Vote third party", it might have been foolhardy to endorse a single candidate.

"Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern." ~~C.S. Lewis
Love won! Deliverance from Tyranny is on the way! Col. 2:13-15

Ummm I believe he would have

if the WRONG person hadn't been nominated (instead of good, decent, real Mary Ruwart, who should have won the LP nomination).

Ron Paul is a genius.

So don't you think if the majority of us with decades less experience in politics could inSTINKtively smell something really CHEESY about Bob Barr, that Dr. Paul was totally unaware of the suspect stench???

He got into the debates and the public eye running in the Republican party but believes the right thing to do now is tear down the old guard and do away with the No Choice 2-party system.

So vote 3rd party! For Chuck Baldwin or Ralph Nader (the other 2 choices are pretty stinky but....) as a STATEMENT against the 2-party system!

Because that would be 'morally' wrong!!!

In a truly free Republic all voices no matter how different or even 'unconstitutional' it may be, must be heard in a public forum. Again, whether it be a free market economy, or a free forum of ideas, we let the people decide and respond with their 'endorsement' or not.

This is why 'closed' presidential debates are so reprehensible and cowardly. Because if 250million Americans heard all the candidates speak their truth, the results of peoples' endorsements would shift so severely as to cause a new sense of 'empowerment' from the grassroots.

I would even go a step further and have not just ONE moderator. Oh no. We would have one person each, whose leanings are 'supportive' of each candidate. It would be their responsibility to develop questions for all candidates thereby 'bringing out' the core essence of each candidates' stand.

As for Obama and McCain, I don't think their little ear wires would be very helpful anymore........

Ludwig von Mises

Maybe Ron Paul knows that

Maybe Ron Paul knows that Barr is not sincere in his efforts. For example, look at how Barr stabbed us in the back today.

If Bob Barr deserves our support he must EARN it. We need to stop giving it to him on a silver platter.

Today Barr showed his true colors.

...

yes john2k

in my post above I concur -- Ron Paul knows what's up about EVERYTHING, including His Snooty Snidely Phoniness, BobBarrf.

LIBERTARIAN party

is bigger than Barr. RP should respect the ONLY party which nominated him to be president.

hey seestraight

Shaddup.
