Barr - a personal opinionSubmitted by speculor on Wed, 09/10/2008 - 15:53
In the light of some unfortunate happenings, also in the light of Shane Cory's rude remarks towards Don Rasmussen, dissatisfaction within the LP with him as well as with VP Wayne Root and based on his recent interview with reason magazine, Barr should show real leadership and shake things up within the LP:
He should fire both Cory and Root and replace Cory with someone with C4L (perhaps Don Rasmussen?) and as VP get Dr. Karen Kwiatkowski,
and clear the whole issue up with Dr. Paul and hold a joint news conference perhaps. This way Barr will show his leadership and trust within some LP's in him and ensure a strong unified ticket with maximum outreach. Dr. Kwiatkowski has - in contrast to Sarah Palin - excellent foreign policy, national-security experience as well as knowledge of monetary theory AND is also very smart, nice/kind and attractive. (She would be a better choice than Mary Ruwart, who he tried to get as VP).
