HEIGHTENED TROLL ATTACKS - what it means

the past weeks have seen heightened overt attacks on Ron Paul supporters in various media outlets,and even here on the dailypaul.
i saw RPs pix like pinocchio[unintentional or not,its a caricaturing],like his comparison with gandalf, or like msnbcs article titled "conspiracy theorists unite", to the demoralization,intrigue sowing here on DP.
RPs press release might've really added more nervousness from your enemies. hence the "SURGE" :D hehehe.
all i can say is, the movement is vulnerable-BECAUSE IT IS GAINING MOMENTUM. it is growing, it is snowballing. it is a baby now standing up,unstoppable and harder to ignore. the status quo cannot afford to let this genie out of the bottle. so your yardstick of course, is the amount of attacks against you. it is nearing the "full spectrum dominance" level.
so congratulations again. roll up your sleeves as the fight gets dirtier the coming months. more sacrifices will be asked from you by your principles and beliefs. it would not be easy. november is near. you all stirred up a hornets nest, and the hornets are on the defensive--attacking on all fronts, straight on in the conventions, media demonization, infiltration, sowing intrigues, labelling and dividing, appeal to pity/emotions, caricaturing, half-truths and instigations--the works!
The more they kick and scream and troll,
the closer we are to the target.

The 'trolls' suffered a huge blow yesterday, when Barr revealed himself to be just what we thought he was, a neocon imposter. It was hilarious to see them scrambling around looking for new angles and failing miserably. The thing is, when you have truth on your side, you are always eventually vindicated. The way this plays out here on the DP on a small scale is no doubt indicative of how it works on a global scale. The 'elites'/neocon/ruling class are WRONG and they KNOW it. We've got them rattled and it's great to see that the best they have to throw at us is transparent, weak, and ridiculous. Keep it up fellow Revolutionaries, America may wake up eventually!

I agree attacks are a good measure of how much they fear you.
That's why the thugs were out in force at the RNC.
However, some of this is just increased traffic. A lot of Ron Paul news has been out there and people - Occasional Trolls and Occasional Legit DPers alike - go, "oh, I'll check out DailyPaul."

The newslady mentioned "on the ronpaulforums, ..." and then described a debate about third party candidates. I saw a topic that said "Why I would NEVER vote for Chuck Baldwin" and another topic that said "Why I would NEVER vote for Bob Barr".

Sure, they throw a lot of garbage in the forum, try to distract, smear and incite violance and hate but never succeed with this highly intellectual Paul followers, instead they keep up the traffic to DP busy for us during lunch time!

We are experiencing a heightened state of alert to troll attacks...perhaps Nystrom should have a color coded warning system on the front page to warn us when to take extra precautions against the evil trolls.
That is the single most overused word on this website, and I haven't been able to figure out exactly what it means.

I have felt the same thing.
It seems like there has been a lot of negativity on the internet as well as the MSM and it only makes sense that those who are not friends of our Liberty Movement are going on the offensive. Because the Rally for the Republic was such a huge success and because the Campaign for Liberty is shaping up to be an incredible resource for political change, the trolls are coming out of their caves in droves.
Some of this heightened negativity has gotten me down and at times flat-out enraged. But I've had to learn how to control that and just let it roll off my shoulders.
We cannot control the things that other people say. We cannot control what others believe. We can only control our own actions.
Keep you eyes on the prize. Don't let the negativity of the trolls and the MSM get you down.

thats the worst thing that could happen for your enemies---they trap you into engagements, mudslingings, and other battles where they pick the arena---call it sun tzus tactic of "establishing a kill zone" and trap your enemy there,where you dictate the rules,and of course, the outcome..
many of the impassioned liberty lovers get caught,but it is their personal journey to transcend such attacks/emotions. i didnt comment on much of it, because it is a personal journey of realization---you're thru with this "test" because their attacks dont affect you anymore. and thats maturity--and it makes you a far more skillful/capable opponent for them.
you are now aware of the traps they force upon you to fall into.

each time the fed manipulates the market, our inflation increases-each 10% inflation per month pushes 2million of my fellow filipinos below the poverty line-because we were forced into loans in the 70s,and they devalued our currency from the original P2=$1 to P46=$1. 40% of my people are now living below poverty-that is 28MILLION PEOPLE in near starvation my dear americans. my heart aches for them each time the imf/wb forces more loans,lowers our tarrifs, displace our people for american corporation factories,mines,businesses, devalues our currency thru political pressure.
the recent below the belt scheme they concocted is the "worldwide food riots in November" and "world rice shortage", and the "oil price inflation pressures",which are all RUMORS by the way. to justify or force more loans, aids and currency devaluation.
